We were on holiday in Liguria and discovered this charming restaurant in the small town where we lived. As non-Italian speakers, we had a bit of a hard time understanding everything, but (at least) two of the people working there spoke perfect English. The food, atmosphere and hospitality were extraordinary. Unfortunately they were closed on our last day (three kings) and so we couldn't say goodbye. Oh well - to all the mountain bikers among you: Simone is a trail builder and rides himself. He can give you some good insider information on trails (just don't believe him when he says they're easy!)

La miglior farinata oltre a ottimi primi tutti rigorosamente con pasta fatta in casa con le chicche stagionali che Simone con la sua simpatia ti propone. Anche i dolci sono notevoli. Ci torno sempre più che volentieri e lo consiglio vivamente

We returned to this historic and traditional restaurant after several years of absence and..... nothing has changed! Everything was delicious (I ate a dream tarte tatina!), spectacular farinata and a warm welcome. Simone and his family are excellent hosts. Absolutely recommended.

Visitata un sabato sera di fine agosto on famiglia. Cercavamo un locale fuori dal contesto costiero e genuino, lo abbiamo trovato. Piatto forte è sicuramente la farinata, cucinata in diverse varianti, ma anche gli antipasti misti erano gradevoli. Abbiamo preso 3 primi, di cui uno fuori menù (ravioli con ripieno di patate con sugo pomodorini e polpo) pansoti alle noci e tagliolini al ragù, e un tonno alla griglia. Abbiamo accompagnato con un buon vermentino del finalese e tanta acqua (serata calda). Abbiamo chiuso con un dolce, unica pecca della serata, dove abbiamo ordinato una torta e ci è arrivato un assaggio di 5 dolci diversi. Avrebbero forse potuto farci pagare il dolce richiesto, ma Pazienza. Nel complesso bella scoperta e prezzo adeguato
