A restaurant entirely focused on mushrooms. The service is neutral, quick, and pleasant. The dishes are truly delicious. The menu is set, served in several courses, and you can have seconds if you wish.

AMAZING! We booked by chance and were lucky enough to find the best restaurant in the valley. The menu featured porcini mushrooms; I've never had them so good and so well-cooked anywhere else. A beautiful location, a beautifully renovated old oil mill, and in the nicer weather, you can eat outside by the river. Fantastic staff, it felt like I was with friends (hugs to Cinzia ☺️). We were happy with everything (including the bill 😉) and hope to return another time.

This place, converted from an old oil mill, is very quaint and well-maintained. Service is quick and friendly. The tagliatelle with mushrooms are good, but I personally don't like the cream bringing out the mushrooms. The fried mushrooms are excellent.

I wanted to love it, and there are lots of good things about Ca’ Mea, but overall I wouldn’t return.
The welcome is super warm and friendly. They accommodated me without a reservation, and delivered so many courses of a tasting menu so efficiently and smoothly that I lost count of how many I had. They were also careful to explain patiently (in English too!) what each dish was, and I felt very at home.
But despite a few exceptionally delicious elements (especially the local ricotta cheese, the porcini mushrooms, and the lemon sorbet), I generally found the meal to have an emphasis on quantity more than quality. The pasta was a little overcooked, the quiche was oily, the cheese soufflé was soggy, and the lamb was tough and chewy. The predominant colours are yellow, brown and beige.
I didn’t mention this at the time, because the staff are doing a wonderful job catering to so many people. And perhaps it depends what you’re looking for: if you want fine dining then look elsewhere, but if you prefer a warm, jolly atmosphere, and to go home with a bursting stomach after eating until you are full (after a €45 fixed menu), then it’s a good bet.

The dinner was excellent across the board, with a fair price for the quantity and quality. The atmosphere was familiar and welcoming, and the service was rare: informal but without compromising on speed, attention, and courtesy.
Glancing around the tables, you often see people smiling as their dishes arrive.
Not just a place to return to, but one I wholeheartedly recommend.
