The food, whichever you choose, will be excellent. The service is very attentive, the food has a unique and fresh flavor, and the views and ambiance are spectacular, especially on the terrace.

Beautiful view with lovely staff. Arrived in the lovely village of Castel Gandolfo with enough time to wander the cobblestone streets and relax with a cappuccino and a pastry in the fresh air and sunshine, prior to our tour of the Palace and Gardens.

The place is nice and the food is good. The dishes are tasty and the quality is good overall. However, the appetizers seemed a bit low for the price, considering how much we spent per person.
The worst part was the bill: it wasn't possible to separate the debit card payments for each diner. In my opinion, in 2025, this shows a lack of courtesy and attention to customers, especially when you're in a group and everyone wants to pay their share. It's a shame, because it wouldn't take much to make the experience truly enjoyable until the end.

4 stars because it deserves the location with lake view. Good food but I don't think there is a good quality/price ratio considering the costs of each dish.
Update on the feedback.
Actually I was referring to the expectations on QUALITY because the economic ones were very clear before booking.

We booked through Google without any problems. When we arrived, they immediately seated us with a lake view. A wonderful experience. The food was excellent and a good compromise between quality/price/location. We had: suppli al telefono on an amazing pecorino cream (we mopped up the sauce with bread). Excellent carbonara (to be completely honest, I've had better ones, but it was incredibly creamy and the pasta was cooked perfectly). A garlic, oil, and chili pepper dish was out of the ordinary. A boiled meatball that was buttery and melted in your mouth. And two nice bottles of Vermentino di Gallura wine. I highly recommend it.
