Every time I return to Florence, this stop is a must, and I swear by the lovingly prepared and served delicacies, prepared and presented by the very friendly and kind owner, Mr. Luciano. The service is impeccable, and the meat is of the highest quality—the best Florentine steak in the area—is complemented by exceptional traditional Tuscan dishes washed down with excellent wines. And, as if that weren't enough, the welcoming and intimate restaurant is located right in the center, just steps from Florence's artistic treasures. Highly recommended.

We ordered truffle ravioli, grilled steak, and a fresh salad, and it was the most satisfying meal we've had in Italy. The steak was sirloin, which was lean and a bit tough, but the olive oil in the salad complemented it perfectly. The truffle ravioli was the most delicious I've had anywhere, from fine dining to all of northern and southern Italy. (It was still delicious even after twelve meals of pasta.)

I booked for dinner because we had an upcoming engagement, so I chose based on our needs. However, we discovered the atmosphere of historic restaurants. We descended a staircase and entered a comfortable room. The attentive and courteous service moved between the tables with ease, keeping everything under control. At the end, we went upstairs, and the owner offered us a liqueur. We paid the bill, which was good value for money, and we lingered to chat for a while. I recommend stopping by if you're passing through.

I had amazing experience in this restaurant yesterday. The staff was super nice, helpful and friendly. Amazing food paired with amazing wine and with fresh bread and tasty olive oil. Hidden from a rush piazza, yet directly there. I can only recommend and visit it for the next time I am in the city.

The terrace, set back a bit from the busy street, might be off-putting at first, but it turned out to be a lovely discovery in the heart of Florence.
The dishes were simple but very good. Special mention goes to the remarkably tender grilled meat.
The servers were very friendly.
