Ristorante Buca Poldo In Firenze

A wonderful traditional meal - which felt very local considering it was in the heart of the old town. Silvia — our waitress, was magnificent and helped organise food for our different dietary needs. The fettuccine with truffle was exquisite.

This place was an unexpected find. The food was incredible and the wait staff were lovely. The inside seating was inside in a cool cellar, a welcome relief from the heat.

We went to Buca Poldo for an early lunch after visiting some of the local attractions in Florence.and were seated by friendly staff. There were very few customers. They explained and recommended the dishes. We had salad and steaks. Both were delicious.

Another reviewer wrote that they wished they had come to Buca Poldo before their last night in Florence and I thought that was a bit cheesy. Until we went also on our last night in Florence. Starting with the atmosphere in the dining room - the basement level is naturally cooler and the air con was a welcome respite to the late June night. You know you’re in Italy when you’re here. You just do. It’s great. The coccoli was fresh and the cheese was decadent. Definitely a great start to the meal. For the main I ordered the ravioli Buca poldo and I STG it was the best pasta dish I’ve had in my life. It was aromatic, creamy, perfectly portioned and delicious. 10/10 recommend. We finished with Tiramisu obviously and it was incredible. Soft and fluffy yet saturated with espresso. Another 10/10 must order. If we weren’t leaving tomorrow we’d be back 100%. This was the perfect send off from Florence and I can’t recommend visiting Buca Poldo enough. Seriously.

Super nice boss and waitress. The first and second courses were great (perfectly medium steak with great truffle sauce!). We‘ll come back!

Este es uno de nuestros restaurantes favoritos en Florencia. La comida es deliciosa y auténtica, y la selección de vinos es genial e incluye algunas opciones locales de chianti. El restaurante en sí está abajo, o se puede comer en el espacio al aire libre si el tiempo es agradable; hemos hecho ambas cosas y estábamos contentos en ambos lugares. El servicio es amable y servicial, incluso cuando hicimos algunas solicitudes especiales de comidas adicionales para llevar - lejos para nuestros hijos, y el ambiente era animado. Volveremos a visitar la próxima vez que estemos en Florencia!

Otra bodega - como restaurante que sirve sabrosos platos locales. El servicio proporcionado por el personal fue amable y rápido, hablan inglés perfecto. La comida viene en porciones más grandes y el limoncello se sirve después. Recomiendo pero una comida de 3 platos supera fácilmente los 75 euros por persona. Es un gran lugar, pero caro para lo que tienes. Parece dirigido principalmente a la clientela asiática.
