After a long time, I'm returning to the historic Boccadoro restaurant in Padua. The cuisine is always top-notch, using quality ingredients. The restaurateurs are a model of how a restaurant should be run (which is why it's still always packed). I didn't give it 5 stars for two reasons: the Vicenza-style cod was rather salty, and the sponge wasn't perfect, affecting the texture. The wine list, while in line with the restaurant's caliber, I found it rather pricey, with an excessive markup, especially on some bottles from the Triveneto area. In any case, I reiterate my remarkably positive opinion.

Excellent restaurant, service exceeded expectations, fantastic frittatatina with wild mushrooms and carletti (pity I didn't have the risotto)!!!! Excellent pappardelle with duck (a historic traditional dish) and finally the pazienzana... Definitely worth returning to.

17/02/2026: I went for a family lunch at this trattoria, which is over 100 years old. It offers traditional Venetian dishes, both meat and seafood: I had risotto and fillet steak, both excellent. The waiters are elegantly dressed and very friendly and welcoming. The interior is very welcoming, and the prices are fair. Overall, a great place to eat.
