The place is definitely worth it for the beautiful view. True to its name. Look at the photos. Spectacular view. Unfortunately, the experience the day I went wasn't the best.
We waited an hour for the appetizer and then 20 minutes for the main course.
Unfortunately, the wait was what really affected us. The food was good, but not what I expected.

Everything was excellent
The waiters were very professional
The owner was very helpful
The products were of excellent quality
The desserts (tiramisu) were spectacular
The only flaw was that the spaghetti with sea urchins was too expensive

Great location, beautiful views of the strait. The service was friendly but very stiff, making it a good place for a business meeting, but not for a casual get-together with friends. The food was tasty but certainly unremarkable, plus my friend didn't get the wrong appetizer.

If you combine a breathtaking location, a knowledgeable and cheerful staff, quality ingredients, and passion and expertise in catering, you can only expect an excellent culinary experience.
A welcome Prosecco with a delicious grouper arancini.
Simple but perfectly cooked first courses, excellent sea bream in salt, a well-stocked wine list, and desserts from the Briguglio pastry shop that never disappoint.
The owners are also very friendly.
Prices are average (actually, lower considering that seafood restaurants in Messina are currently terrible, in my opinion).

Maybe it was because they were having trouble with the sirocco wind today, but the service was terrible, the restaurant owner was rude, and the food wasn't exceptional.

The view is unbeatable: right by the water. You can hear the sea breaking on the beach which is wonderful.
The side itself is quite minimalistic and clean and service is cordial and efficient.
I always eat the raw food plate or a tuna tartare which is always super fresh. I'd also recommend eating the grilled swordfish since it a stroke of the area. Their risotto with seafood is outstanding.
In terms of desserts, if you are a fan of chocolate ice cream, you should order the tartufo. I could eat three in a row.
I keep going back to this place every time I'm in town because it's that good. On the pricey side.
