the negative reviews are all fake. I felt at home, the food was delicious, the service was exceptional and very kind. Before going to them I saw other restaurants/trattorias and this is the best in my opinion.

Discovered by chance during a trip to Sermoneta, this place really deserves a stop. Exquisite platters filled with small delicacies and the kindness of the managers will win you over. The buffalo ricotta with truffle pâté was sublime!

As mentioned in the other review, it is a tourist place...anyway we had a good time. It collaborated with the restaurant next door Il Chiodo...we ordered from both.

Spritz aperitif, porchetta and kebabs acceptable. Good service although moderately expensive especially for the platter of kebabs. Paying for bread and cover (2€ per person) for an aperitif, I would define it as an "unwelcome" surprise.

25/08/2024: Excellent fish dinner. Courteous staff, fast service. Excellent and very good dishes. We will be back soon
19/08/2024: Scauri, a particular little place all based on fish. Sitting under a pergola where ventilation was forced by two normal fans. Wobbly tables and some badly damaged chairs. While we were waiting for the first courses the waitress cleaned the next tables with glassex (or something similar). An incredible smell. (Don't tell me that at least he cleaned!) Prices of first courses are normal considering the tourist location. But half a dish with overcooked octopus and soft octopus wasn't the best. Friendly waiters.
