I came with my family and I had the carbonara, the cacio e pepe, and the chicken pinza. Everything was delicious! I'll be back.

At first, we thought this wasn't a tourist spot, as we weren't immediately ambushed by a waiter who practically forced a table on us. It smelled lovely outside and the restaurant was pleasantly busy, but unfortunately, we were disappointed by the food, as it didn't taste particularly good, which is fair. Although there was no extra charge for bread and there were no hidden costs, I still wouldn't recommend the restaurant.

We went for dinner and were pleasantly satisfied. Great atmosphere. It has a lovely terrace. The food was exquisite. We ordered some delicious spaghetti carboneras and some very tasty gnocchi. I recommend it.

Ci sono andato per anni,e mangiare lì era un piacere,anche per la presenza e l' umanità di Paolo,gran persona sotto tutti i punti di vista.Dopo che lui se n'è andato,ci son stato una volta e non son rimasto entusiasta,ma darò a questo locale sicuramente altre possibilità,se lo merita Paolo e la sua famiglia.Massimo.

03/05/2025: Om de hoek van ons Hotel, een parel! Na een te gekke dag ik Rome met te veel meters gemaakt, geen zin in nog meer lopen. De recensies waren goed en de keuken heeft het waar gemaakt. Nagenoeg vol. Bediening is perfect, keuze is reuze. Hoofd gerecht pasta carbonada! Aanrader. Nagerecht Uiteraard Tiramsu, pannacotta! Espresso! Wat wil een mens nog meer!

13/07/2025: I've been hearing about it since I was little, so yesterday I wanted to try it. The food was well above average, the service was impeccable, and the price was fair for the quality of the food. It's a shame you can't have dinner after the theater, which is just a stone's throw away. Let's find a solution 😀
06/07/2025: Family dinner at Calice d'Oro the other day and it was a nice re-discovery. In fact, I used to dine there in the 80s, when I was still a student, with my father and my siblings. The garden is very pleasant, and the service is simple but super kind. The menu is not extensive (which personally I appreciate and prefer) but has plenty excellent choices of the typical roman cuisine. We went for the alici fritte (fried sardines) really good, filetti di spigola all'arancia (sea bass fillets marinated in orange juice) very nice, and then amatriciana, a classic, cacio e pepe, another classic, and tagliolini vongole cozze e bottarga, delicate and satisfying. Gelato to close the dinner. The price is reasonable, about 25 euro each.
