Ristorante Antica Rocca In Soncino

An interesting place to eat something good when visiting this beautiful town

We had lunch at the Antica Rocca restaurant, located right next to the Rocca di Soncino. The very kind lady helped us choose the menu. The tagliolini al limone were delicious: the fresh, homemade pasta was delicate yet beautifully enveloped in a bold lemon sauce. The eggplant parmigiana ravioli were filled with intense eggplant flavor, layered in a delicate cheese sauce, and topped with a drizzle of tomato and basil oil that further enhanced the aroma: truly exquisite. The cod was harmoniously balanced by the underlying sauce and the crispy basil-flavored breading. And finally, the snails à la bourguignonne were absolutely extraordinary. We'll definitely be back!

Location near the Rocca. The atmosphere is decidedly elegant and tasteful. The dishes are true to the area and its traditions. The wine list is excellent. The presentation is impeccable. The service is prompt and the staff is friendly. This location certainly deserves more than its description. Truly satisfied.

I had a great dinner; excellent tomato-stuffed calamari. The desserts were delicious. The service was attentive and fast.

A restaurant in the center of Soncino offering Italian cuisine, visited for lunch. The atmosphere is very elegant, with several references to past decades. The main dining room is bright and well-decorated. The staff is friendly and competent, and we found that the restaurant is also pet-friendly. The cuisine here is truly impressive: we tried a summer parmigiana and an appetizer with char, both dishes perfectly executed, balanced, and with their own personality (and yes, they were also delicious :D). For main courses, a Gallura-style stuffed pasta (good with a hint of sweetness in the filling that mitigates the risk of a monotonous dish) and a monkfish cheek dish, also impeccable. For dessert, sorbets and, above all, a fabulous cheesecake, executed with a few variations on the classics, but a mousse with a truly surprising and convincing flavor and texture. A solid cuisine, confident in its abilities; Courteous and flawless service. Definitely recommended for anyone in the area!

Locale bello ed elegante dove il gusto e la classe, la fanno da padroni. Personale cortese e attento alle esigenze della clientela, i piatti sono quelli tipici della cucina italiana ma si sente la passione dello chef. Tornerò con grandissimo piacere.

Ristorante davvero carino con gestori davvero gentili e disponibili. Pasta al ragù d’anatra buonissimi mentre la tagliata era un po’ anonima e sarebbe da rivedere.
