All dishes are excellent quality, using local ingredients. Try the "latte cotto" (cooked milk). The atmosphere is classic and very welcoming, and the owners and staff are friendly and professional.

I returned to Rocca Antica in Soncini again in November, and as always, it was a fantastic experience. The first time, in the summer, I tried the tagliolini al limone and the cod with basil: fresh and light dishes, perfect for the season. This time, the lady recommended the bollito misto—and, as always, her advice is impeccable. I always wonder how she understands my tastes so well! The bollito began with a consommé with tortellini, followed by a rich pot of veal, cotechino, salami, chicken, head, and trotter, accompanied by mustard, mayonnaise, salsa verde, and horseradish, as well as lentils and giardiniera as sides. Everything was delicious and perfectly balanced. Truly, this restaurant is one of my favorites and never disappoints.
