Last night my husband and I had dinner at Ammentos. The food was delicious, with authentic Sardinian flavors.
We had the meat appetizer (grilled vegetables, a platter of cured meats and cheeses), and for the main course, the hearty roast suckling pig with potatoes.
To finish, we had Sardinian sweets with Moscato wine.
The service was attentive and courteous.
We'll definitely be back!

Recommended are the maccaroni de busa and roast suckling pig with potatoes. The fregola with vegetables and the seadas are quite good. The malloreddus in bianco with sheep's milk gorgonzola are a bit below par. Good service. The restaurant is not very large inside, but there are also tables outside.

The food was delicious, the house wine was delicious. The best I've had in 10 days.
The service was appalling. A woman greeted us, took our order, and served us in a hurry and without a smile; you felt like you were bothering her. There was another waiter who also brought the food; he was a little nicer. It's a strange service strategy. You just have to ignore them and enjoy the food.

I came here to introduce two Tuscan friends to Sardinian cuisine. The service and hospitality were excellent, including recommendations for the dishes. It's definitely a good place that also offers a combination menu. We ordered individual dishes, including roast suckling pig and braised ribs: the former was well-cooked and crispy, while the latter was interesting. The appetizer of Sardinian cheeses, pecorino and goat, and the roasted cheese were also excellent. The maccarones de busa were a bit too al dente, but the sauce was good with a typical Sardinian flavor. The prices were fair for the dishes.

Very fast service (understandably, given the restaurant's relatively small crowd when we arrived). The food was decent, but not incredibly good value for money.
I don't think smiling is a given for the staff, otherwise I can't explain this cold and unwelcoming approach.

We found the restaurant in the guidebook. We arrived at 2:30 p.m. and the restaurant manager gave us a hasty, almost aggressive welcome, and said we couldn't eat on the terrace. It was well after giving us our menus that she told us they were closing. We decided to eat very quickly and choose our dishes at random, urged on by the manager. The dishes were delicious; it's good, typical cuisine, nothing to complain about. However, the service left something to be desired. Luckily, another server was smiling and funny.

Ten of us went with our family this evening, recommended by a friend. The place is truly traditional, with local cuisine. The lady, whose selfie I'm fondly attaching, is simply unique and happy to help you choose, helping you not to overdo it and even accommodating the kids' choices. Unique ❤️.

Si può scegliere cosa inserire nella degustazione.
Unica pecca, il vino non è un granché e il servizio .. potrebbero essere un po’ più gentili e sorridenti.
