Ristorante Aloisi In Lecce

I'm giving it a total of 4 because the reception staff, restaurant staff, bar staff, and kitchen staff are wonderful! Kind, helpful, and hardworking, they welcome you with courtesy and so much professionalism and kindness! And they know how to do their job very well! Unlike the owners, starting with Mr. Alosi Sr., his wife, and daughter, who, alas, are snobbish and don't even notice you. If you say hello, they barely return your greeting, or better yet, they just walk by (heads up and silent), not even a smile! But back to the point: a former motel converted into a hotel... I stayed there for 8 days (I left the property yesterday, November 1st). We had to change the first room because it hadn't been cleaned. They assigned me another room that was supposed to be better, but instead, no comment! (I won't post photos for privacy reasons, but I have everything documented). And this is where the skill and professionalism of the staff comes into play: the front desk intervenes promptly, they try to make you feel comfortable and not leave. Because believe me, I had already paid for my stay as soon as I arrived at the hotel, but I had to leave. Leave for the rooms, nothing else. Lastly, the food is good, the breakfast is decent, and the location is strategic, even though the gas station is just a few meters from the hotel entrance. And if you can sleep on a spring mattress that was provided to the post-war barracks, if you can store your clothes in a room without a closet, if you don't sleep on the parking lot side, where the sounds of the car wrecking yard start behind you as early as 3-4 a.m., then okay... I repeat, the guys, the kitchen staff, the waiters, and the reception are the best! Our heartfelt thanks to them and best wishes for success in life; you are unique and made our stay in Lecce memorable! 🫶

Very good value for money. It's far from the center, but there's a bus at the door that takes you there.

Good hotel to stay at. It's a bit far from the historic center. A big advantage is that it has on-site parking, which is very useful for those traveling by car.

Well-located hotel at the entrance to the city of Lecce. Take the bus and 10 minutes later you'll be in the center of the old town. Very welcoming staff. Very good dinner.

We returned after a while... the staff was always very friendly, professional... waiting... helpful... Alessandro's smile was contagious... we regret not mentioning the names of the other receptionists... however, our total respect and thanks go to them... any problems that arise are all resolved... a round of applause goes to the cleaning staff and the staff who welcome us in the morning for breakfast... the hotel is in a strategic location... close to the ring road... close to the center... nearby there are department stores... Eurospin... Lidel... Terranova... Tigotà... a hotel that offers all the comforts... parking... and restaurant service.... a great place... we are happy to be back... we greet you all with warmth and respect.... Daniela and Giuseppe

The hotel, despite being classified as a 4-star, doesn't quite meet the standards expected for this category. The room was pleasant and clean, but lacked any particular distinguishing features. The sweet breakfast was quite varied and well-stocked, while the savory selection was limited exclusively to ham and cheese. Overall, the stay was decent, but some aspects could be improved to make the experience more in line with the hotel's classification. Furthermore, the city center is not within walking distance due to its location, but at least it's only a 10-minute drive.

I stayed at this hotel for five days with my girlfriend while visiting Salento. It's in a great location, convenient for reaching the Ionian and Adriatic coasts. There's on-site parking, friendly and helpful staff, and a decent breakfast. However, the bathroom is a bit small; instead of a bidet, there's a showerhead that's not exactly practical, and part of the shower hose gets hot, so you have to be careful not to bump into it in the shower stall. If we return to Salento, we'll probably stay at this hotel again.
