The accommodation met expectations, good accommodation at a great price.

Very well-kept hotel inside a historic building. The rooms are spacious and well-furnished. The bathrooms are a little dated but we think the age of the structure. It has an excellent restaurant. The breakfast is plentiful and varied. The staff is very helpful. The only flaw is the parking. However, not far away and it is possible to park in safe places and without charge. The center is 2 minutes from the hotel.

We stayed at Ala d’Oro Hotel for three nights as a base for attending the F1 Grand Prix in Imola with family, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. The staff truly stood out—warm, kind, communicative, and always willing to help with anything we needed. Their genuine hospitality made our stay feel both comfortable and cared for. The rooms were clean, well-stocked, and meticulously maintained. While the style was fairly standard for a traditional hotel, everything was spotless and functioned perfectly, which is what matters most. On-site parking was a great convenience, and must be reserved in advance. The restaurant deserves special mention—a small menu of local classics, each dish better than the last. Simple, honest, and absolutely delicious food that captures the essence of the region. Breakfast was another highlight: a beautifully presented buffet with a wide variety of options to suit all tastes. Located in a quiet, peaceful town, Ala d’Oro is a wonderful place to relax after a busy day. Whether you're visiting the area for an event or just passing through, I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel for its service, cleanliness, and the food alone.

Beautiful hotel Very friendly and welcoming staff

Well-furnished and comfortable rooms, service done with kindness and courtesy, perfect location on the edge of the restricted traffic zone with agreements with multi-storey parking very close by and at a daily price of 7 euros. The top is reached with the breakfast which must be defined as excellent and of excellent quality. Defect that has no defects.

Excellent value for money and courteous and kind operators

Excellent hotel in the historic center of Lugo. Simple, very clean, very large room and beds, friendly and helpful front office.

We stop for a classical music event, at the café. We go in, the girl at the reception tells us to continue. When we arrive, the waiter passes by, not a smile, not a greeting, nor does he ask anything. Seeing that it was full, we sit in the living room. After almost half an hour, the waiter appears, if we wanted to drink something. Honestly, an attitude not suitable in a hotel. I understand the many people, but a smile, apologies for the wait, would have been nice. We trust in an improvement, also because the place is nice, and ideal for these initiatives.
