Ristorante "Al Viminale" In Roma

The food may not be outstanding, but it’s still good, and the staff are attentive. However, I’d say the prices are a bit high compared to other alternatives.

I ate a carbonara that didn't live up to its reputation and for a Roman restaurant it's not a good reference.

A family-run restaurant in the center of Rome. Since the change of management, the restaurant has taken on a new lease of life. Authentic food and excellent service. Drinks, bread, and coffee are always offered by the owners (a lovely and charming couple) and are therefore free. The dishes are generous. We ordered: 1 Gnocchi Sorrentina, 1 Gnocchi with mussels and pecorino cheese, meatballs in tomato sauce (six) with mashed potatoes, 2 bread baskets, a Coke Zero, large water, and 2 coffees for €39.50 (almost €20 per person). I highly recommend it.

Meals are very good and authentic. Service is top notch.

We spent 4 days in Rome. Not very happy with many meals, Al Viminale was by far a 10. If you're in Roma, you must come for dinner.

A very cute and well placed restaurant! In the evening, the outside terrace overlooks the Italian interior minister, with beautiful lighting. The waiter, Lucas, always with a smile on his face, is very kind and a pleasure to interact with. He made our experience that much better. The food was really good, special mention for the home made pana cotta. Would definitely come back!

What a great find this restaurant is! The service was top-notch; we ordered an osso bucco, which was excellent! The meat was super tender and the sauce creamy! Plus, the price was reasonable, which doesn't hurt.

Generous portions and good quality food

This restaurant is a neighborhood gem. If you’re looking for a fantastic meal that is away from the tourist traps, visit Al Viminale. Every dish we ordered was amazing. The service was excellent.

Service was great, the wait staff was super friendly and the prices weren’t too high. However the Margherita pizza should be avoided, it didn’t taste bad, but it’s absolutely not worth getting in a city filled with amazing pizzerias.
