A typical osteria serving fantastic traditional borlenghi, fried crescentine, and fabulous tigelle. The atmosphere is warm and makes you feel right at home. Highly recommended.

Difficult to get to but once you get there...the place is magnificent and the food simple but delicious

A restaurant located in the Modena Apennines, with a stunning view. The only dishes served are borlenghi, tigelle, and gnocco fritto (fried dumplings) with cured meats and cheeses. Everything is excellent, freshly cooked by the family who have run the restaurant for over forty years. The bill for two people was about €50 total. Some reviews complained about the service being a bit slow; although we didn't find it that way, it's still worth waiting for fragrant borlenghi while sipping a glass of Lambrusco in the shade of the trees. Highly recommended for a day trip.

One of the few left to taste the "borlenghi"

With a typical village tavern atmosphere (Lambrusco wine, checked tablecloths, and all), Paolo and his family treated us to a fantastic dinner featuring typical local dishes. Highly recommended, I really hope to return!

We stopped for lunch and returned for an aperitif. The owners were friendly and welcoming, and they even let us park our camper van overnight in the parking lot. Highly recommended.

A revelation! A lovely restaurant in a panoramic spot overlooking our Apennine mountain. A few dishes, including excellent borlenghi, excellent gnocco fritto, and delicious crescentine. Average prices. I'll be back.
