Couple's dinner with dog Margot. The staff are very friendly and helpful, unfortunately we ate inside and it was very hot despite the fans. We ate a sea bream and a grilled fish, all very fresh, the sea bream was farmed but the waiter declared it from the first moment. Margot was accepted without any problems and they even served her a bowl of fresh water. Parking is immediately outside the venue and is easy to reach. We saw some dishes passing by that were certainly delicious, such as the marinara risotto, the pizza also looked good... we will definitely be back to try other things. The bill was right and they also offered us a bitter.

The pizza is surprisingly good, I tried my daughter's, nice and soft. The mixed fry is also good, as is the side dish of grilled vegetables. The only thing that disappointed us a little was the dessert: the cream is still frozen while the limoncello is warm. Otherwise I would have given 5 stars 😊 anyway I wouldn't mind returning in the future.

Anche se poco distante dal mare Posso tranquillamente dire che il mare era in tavola. personale gentilissimo e preparato molto veloci nella preparazione. consiglio vivamente di andare e chiedere consiglio al maître il pescato del giorno…

Even if not far from the sea I can safely say that the sea was on the table. Very kind and knowledgeable staff, very quick in preparation. I highly recommend going and asking the maître for advice on the catch of the day...

In 5 days of stay I ate here. Three dinners, beautiful place, top courtesy, no air conditioning. But for the rest everything is super. I recommend it to everyone for the quality of both the food and the hospitality. I think they have really excellent prices, not at all high considering that you also eat fish.

Una sorpresa del Cilento. Il locale è grande senza una personalità, ma ha ampio parcheggio, è molto pulito, un menù a prevalenza di pesce, ma anche con qualche piatto di carne. Si mangia benissimo, sia gli antipasti che i secondi ottimi. Ho preso le alici marinate, l'orata all' acqua pazza, i calamari fritti e i crocchè di patate, tutto buonissimo. Da tornarci sicuramente.

10/08/2024: Sono stato in questo splendido posto su suggerimento di amici. Appena entri capisci che Genuini Cilento deve essere una tappa obbligata per chi viene in queste zone. In una location che trasuda di storia vieni accolto con grande garbo da Giancamillo, persona splendida che con eleganza e convivialità arricchisce le magnifiche pietanze che vengono servite con ricchezza e semplicità. Pizzette fritte dall'impasto leggerissimo, fusilli cilentani equilibrio di sapori e profumi, squisiti formaggi, parmigiana di melanzane apoteosi del gusto. Genuini Cilento è molto di più di un posto dove puoi mangiare divinamente, è un viaggio tra i sapori del tempo in una atmosfera unica dove ogni singola portata ti fa cogliere la passione di chi li prepara, di chi ha scelto di essere e non semplicemente di fare
03/08/2024: Entri in questo locale che trasuda di tradizione locale e rimani colpito dall’atmosfera squisitamente cilentana … grazie Giancamillo! e grazie a Carmela che mi ha descritto la ricetta della pasta ai ceci … che lascia esterrefatti! Da provare tutte le leccornie … ma devi trovare posto! BRAVIIIII

11/08/2024: We have been frequenting Pisciotta for several years and from time to time we have eaten at this restaurant. in the past we have never been enthusiastic and were rather surprised by the reputation of the high rating compared to the experiences we have had. This year, for the first time, we finally had the opportunity to confirm the fame of this restaurant. We ate really well, so much so that we returned four times in the space of 15 days. The fish always very well cooked and fresh. The flavors are good, traditional and strong. For example, even grilled fish which normally in other restaurants is extremely expensive and very often not very tasty, in this case is truly noteworthy. So much so that we ate it 2 nights in a row. The only advice we would like to give is to avoid busy moments to avoid small delays from the kitchen. The service is very kind with many young people animated by great availability. The manager, Mr. Mario, is an exquisite person to deal with during the evening. Finally, the price, very reasonable and also very competitive in relation to the quality of the offer. It's really worth it.
09/08/2024: Great! We've been coming back for years and it's always good. Down-to-earth and delicious in a unique setting. Our favorite restaurant in Italy also because of the wonderful memories of past holidays.
