Fantastic unique location, a spectacular terrace overlooking the sea with a spectacular view of the Etna sea. Excellent food, compliments to chef Maurizio, everything was excellent, spaghetti, mussels and clams were amazing! Kind staff and great attention to the customer, we had dinner and lunch often during our Calabrian holidays, congratulations and thank you!

Excellent restaurant where you can celebrate truly special occasions

We had a fantastic evening; all perfect! Excellent food, efficient, present and never intrusive service. For those who are from our area, they know that "Il Faro" is an institution but it is always good to point it out for all tourists and for those who are not from Reggio, come and dine in this restaurant and you will be sure to go! Highly recommended!

We have known the place for over 25 years, clearly the family management has undergone changes as has the interior of the renovated place. The food is reasonably good, avoid booking for large events on the same day if you simply go for lunch or dinner... they are a little disorganised... they could have added a few more waiters and staff on these occasions for the food to be all quite good prices are average

Absolutely positive experience; we happened to have lunch by chance during our stay in Calabria following the Piedmontese 5-a-side football team at the 2024 Regions Tournament and the next day we returned. Courtesy and hospitality are at home. The location is magnificent with the room overlooking the sea and the dishes we had the pleasure of tasting were prepared with professionalism and care. The courtesy of the waiters and the energy of the owner's father-in-law (who entertained us with some glimpses of real Calabria) complete a decidedly pleasant picture.
