Beautiful location, excellent food

Panoramic location, good food, and kind, helpful staff.

Maybe it's the high cost of living, but the set menu is to be avoided like the plague. In recent years, they've had a flawed policy of "you get less and you pay more." Basically, you leave unsatisfied for not having eaten anything special (all in the name of low value). Plus, they've removed the included drinks, or rather, only soft drinks. And if you choose a beer (a paltry 33cl Peroni), they don't bring you the soft drink that was included on the menu and charge an extra 3 euros. In the end, you end up paying 28 euros per person for a paltry appetizer, a paltry pizza, and a beer. Honestly, there are places where for 30-35 euros per person you leave satisfied and want to return. I wouldn't go back here for the set menu.

Excellent location for both lunch/dinner and for organizing an event. Beautiful view, ample parking. But most importantly, Good food quality and excellent service. And the prices are fair too.

Welcoming atmosphere, fast service but the view is beyond comment.

We celebrated my baby's baptism, everything was impeccable, the food and service. Everyone was super friendly.

We've been there twice; the first time in September 2023, to celebrate the golden anniversary (50 years of marriage) of a couple of friends of ours who attended the same dance school as us, so we even had a DJ who made us dance, either with records, with the help of the computer, or with live music (paid separately). The second time was on July 10, 2025, for the end-of-year reunion of our school/club "Giantondance" (there were five of us, or 10 people), at a single large table. We each chose our favorite menu from a list that included several meal options, interchangeable with: pizza, appetizers, mussel soup, or seafood or meat-based first courses, or even meat or fish-based second courses, of course, with varying prices. This time, there was no background music or dancing like two years ago, partly because it was packed with people and tables everywhere, especially inside the restaurant, which also has an outdoor area overlooking the panorama of Naples, seen from the top of Camaldoli Hill. That evening, it was very breezy and more than cool! Some of our group requested fries, or even gelato to finish the meal; others didn't appreciate these additional dishes because they were so full. Ultimately, the place is charming, minimal in terms of furnishings, but pleasant for its elevated position and panoramic views, and especially for the quality and deliciousness of the gastronomic specialties offered.

"Al convento" ha rinnovato, i menù costano un po' di più, ma la cena evento è straordinaria. Ci accoglie la proprietaria all'ingresso con l'elenco delle prenotazioni e ci accompagna al nostro tavolo in sala. Il personale giovane efficiente e cordiale è molto promettente; la serata si svolge con due animatrici che alternandosi e gestendosi cantando senza autotune gestiscono le due sale anche promuovendo una sorta di gara che tenga alta l'allegria e la partecipazione dei clienti. Un solo neo, al finale: i parcheggiatori, che sono tre, non trovano le chiavi e mi chiedono dove le ho messe, forse sul furgone, tre volte me lo chiedono e vanno anche a controllare... Non ho parole neanche per la fretta che ci hanno messo per sistemare il disabile all'interno del furgone, per la pretesa di guidarmi nella manovra, come se sapessero qualcosa del mio furgone per disabili.... Certamente la brutta nota stonata che ci ha fatto andar via con amarezza: disattenti, scostumati e presuntuosi.

Cosa dire ,ieri ho festeggiato il mio 60 esimo compleanno. Ho mangiato benissimo .Location spettacolare e personale molto professionale. Mi sento di consigliare questa location per i vostri eventi qualsiasi essi siamo. Grazie ragazzi.
