I have been to this restaurant for a wedding and it was truly a wonderful discovery. The place is enchanting, a breathtaking view as I think you can also see from the attached photos. The service was excellent. The dishes were good, maybe not exceptional, but still nothing to say. Excellent wine served too. Definitely worth a try if you are in the area, even if I don't know how it normally works, not in a private event I mean, since the place was completely at the disposal of the newlyweds and their guests.

Nice restaurant in Vodo, about 20 km from Cortina d'Ampezzo. Enchanting view, very pleasant environment. Attentive and friendly staff, excellent cuisine

Very good meal, except for the dessert.
There were two atmospheres, passing customers like us, with a minimum of service and regulars who are welcomed at open bars.
The quality/price ratio is really not justified.

Great professionalism of the owners both in hospitality and service. Beautiful and accurate environment without unnecessary frills but with a beautiful fireplace. The dishes offered are excellent and the portions are very satisfying. Absolutely recommended

After almost 7 years of frequenting restaurants in Cortina and the surrounding area, I can say that Acero rosso is definitely "our" restaurant par excellence.
Impeccable location, food and service... with hosts Aldo and Raffaella who make you feel as if you were at home.
the menu is revised every 2/3 months with new proposals for dishes that are always revisited but maintaining a link with the local tradition.
What can I say if you are in the area you MUST try it because you will be pleasantly surprised..

Cortesia, cordialità e cura dei dettagli caratterizzano questo ristorante.
Il locale è molto bello ed accogliente e vanta un’ottima scelta di vini.
Le portate ordinate sono state eccellenti con degli ottimi abbinamenti di sapori; davvero una bella scoperta!

Abbiamo preso tutti piatti diversi per poter assaggiare più cose e devo dire che ci sono piaciuti tutti.
Ogni piatto aveva il suo sapore, deciso e consistente
Ottimo secondo me il rapporto qualità prezzo
E sono dell’idea che la qualità si paga
Vengo anch’io da un contesto ristorativo e sicuramente punto come loro su alla qualità piuttosto che la quantità
