Nice atmosphere but super small portions! For the price I was expecting at least normal portions. I was really looking forward for the gnocci but had to order 2 more meals to feel satisfied.

Consigliati da una persona del posto, abbiamo voluto provare ad andare a farci una cena diversa dal solito, in un ristorante elegante. Prodotti freschi e piatti preparati con molta cura e classe, servizio impeccabile con personale molto gentile, dall'accoglienza ai saluti finali. Prezzi adeguati al locale. Lo consiglio.

C’est bon mais comme ailleurs à Cala Gonone c’est cher et assez « attrape -touristes « . Une qualité à noter cependant c’est la sincérité de la carte où pratiquement tous les plats sont mentionnés comme étant décongelés. C’est sûrement le cas ailleurs vu que toutes les cartes se ressemblent mais là au moins c’est clair

After 2 years I returned to have dinner (even a little late and they let us sit "not recently")
Raw appetizers - EXCELLENT - (offered off the menu)
As a second we took:
Linguine with: Shrimp, Scampi, Cuttlefish, Mussels, Crab...
After touring 3/4 restaurants in
CalaGonone I can confirm that in my opinion the first course (Linguine) is the TOP of GONONE 💯

Ok, sometimes as a spoiled food freak you just end up somewhere where the food and presentation exceeds all your expectations. So this is one of those. The osteria with 5 tables was full again, so we arrived here at 4 nice
The wine came from the wine shop a block away where we happened to have tasted wine the night before, so it was already very good
The food was more than excellent, the presentation worthy of a star, the presentation was very good, friendly and professional
The bill is a joke
Ok not the cheapest but price quality more than ok
In other words, recommended, but make a reservation because it was completely full

We had dinner with a platter of 0 km cheeses and cured meats and porceddu with potatoes and finished with seadas
All delicious with more than generous portions!

Wow. Elevated eating in Cala Gonone. Really impressive, creative dishes. The fried beetroot millefuille with aubergine cream (yes, you read that right) was to die for. Reservations a must.
