If I could give more stars, I would :) Traditional food of excellent quality and delicious, really friendly staff, prices accessible to everyone. Recommended!

A very honest trattoria in the center of Lucca (in the sense that it doesn't pretend to be something it's not). Little show and lots of substance. The dishes are carefully prepared, you can tell. The spaghetti with white ricotta and sausage ragù is excellent. Definitely worth a try!

We had dinner on Wednesday... The restaurant was small but well-kept and welcoming. We ordered a cured meat appetizer, two first courses, and two desserts, along with water and wine. The food was of excellent quality and deliciousness. I can highly recommend the Tordelli and the mascarpone dessert, which were truly exceptional! The staff were courteous and helpful. The total cost was €64, which I consider to be very reasonable. Recommended for anyone visiting Lucca's historic center, given its location. See you next time!

The host and his family are incredibly friendly, and the food is excellent and authentic. It's become a regular stop for us from Florence!

This restaurant offers a menu of traditional Lucca dishes, including excellent tordelli. Prices are reasonable considering its central location. Be warned, they don't take reservations.

It's now a must-try when we're in Lucca. The food is authentic and delicious, and the prices are fair. And the banter with the host is always a pleasant side dish. Highly recommended!

Excellent food, nice atmosphere and very polite and friendly staff

A classic old-fashioned osteria with a homey atmosphere. We had a wonderful meal, everything was perfect. The owner is a legend because of all the messages he writes everywhere and the funny jokes he tells. They don't take reservations for lunch, so you'd better get there early! If I'm ever in Lucca again, I'll definitely be back.
