Angelo Del Mare has the best seafood I've ever had in my life. We were in Tropea for 3 days and went to eat at this restaurant every single day! The staff is so warm and so friendly and truly make you feel like a part of their Italian family! The seafood is so fresh, it is caught that morning and they will tell you all about their catches of the day. The mussels were the freshest i've ever had and the swordfish and tuna steak literally melted in my mouth. The ambiance is so lovely, the restaurant has recently been renovated and is nautical themed and very modern! There is so much love in the food, in their service and in their hospitality, this place is truly one of a kind and I am still dreaming about it. If you are headed to Tropea, go to. Angelo del Mare - trust me, this will be the best seafood you will eat !

Trust the “catch of the day” and they will not disappoint you. Excellent service, excellent quality and a great welcome. The fish market is located slightly outside the center of Tropea (in a side street) outside the “tourist” areas of the super center.

A memorable dinner: very fresh fish served as it should be, an excellent bottle of Tenuta Iuzzolini and a family atmosphere that makes you feel at home.

Uno dei posti migliori a Tropea per mangiare dell’ottimo pesce! Per noi una certezza, avendo una cosa molto vicino abbiamo scoperto qualche anno fa questo ottimo ristorante e ci siamo sempre trovati divinamente. Il locale non è molto grande e seppur i tempi non sono brevi, l’attesa ne vale la pena sia per gusto che per freschezza. Siamo stati presenti in alcune serate che hanno riscontrato problemi con altri clienti forse anche descritti nelle recensioni. Ci tengo a sottolineare che non siamo né parenti né amici, ma clienti abituali che si sono sempre trovati bene e che hanno anche visto la maleducazione di chi con arroganza e presunzione pretende, dimenticandosi che solo chi fa sbaglia! Vincenzo e Ombretta andate avanti per la vostra strada, prenderemmo le vostre difese ancora!

22/06/2025: Great lunch! Mixed seafood appetizer: you immediately feel on vacation! The staff is kind and friendly, you really feel welcome. Thank you! We will be back very gladly!
20/06/2025: Among many restaurants, this is an absolute gem. Although it is not very visible, the enjoyment of the food and the place where the restaurant is located will bring tears to your eyes. We had pasta fileja with seafood, where the seafood was absolutely fresh, the pasta homemade and the taste unbeatable. I do not like tomatoes and the waiter himself offered to make me a version without tomatoes!! The second dish we had beef steak from local farming. We have not tasted such an excellent taste of beef for a long time. Then the owner Roberto came and answered all our questions about the food, the origin of the meat with grace. Each of the waiters knows what to do and they serve a great performance, especially señor Anys and señor with glasses Claudio. And dessert? We have no words. We will gladly return to this place whenever we are nearby. Definitely worth a visit. Once again, many thanks!
