This was my favourite place in Rome. Kind waitstaff, incredible prices for Rome, and delicious. Beautiful. The bruschetta con bufala mozzarella hit the spot (only 5€ for a large portion)!

The food was really good and arrived very quickly (probably because we were the only ones in the restaurant).
We had bruschetta as a starter and pasta with pesto for the main course – both highly recommended!
The service, however, was incredibly poor: The waitress was unfriendly and took a long time to arrive, meaning you have to approach her to order. She never spoke to us at all and was very dismissive, which made the entire experience in the restaurant very unpleasant...
So if you don't mind the atmosphere, I would still recommend it for the delicious food.

If you're looking for a place to dine near St. Peter's Basilica, don't hesitate to take a few steps along Via Fornaci to this small restaurant covered in vines.
The prices are very reasonable, unlike the cuisine, which is fair and has clean, pronounced flavors. The pasta is fantastic, certainly the best in the area. Everything else is just as good. The wine list is extensive and very well chosen. A must.

Lovely small restaurant with traditional Italian cuisine. The food was excellent and easily the best we had in Rome. Delicious pasta dishes and carpese. The tiramasu desert was also delicious.

Truly the best Italian food I’ve ever eaten! The Carbonara and Aubergine dishes were so amazing we ordered the lasagne too! The carbonara is the best I’ve ever eaten, but the lasagne was so delicate and delicious I was in heaven! Fantastic suggestions for both food and wine, which was also very good
Plug sockets along the walls inside for travellers (including USB), pretty sure it’s LGBTQ+ friendly, and the chef comes out to check everyone’s happy. The vibe is so inviting and relaxing and the entire menu is on chalkboards, so could not be more authentic if it tried!
