I usually eat at this place on my work break. Family atmosphere, owners and staff available to all customer needs. The food is above expectations considering the small kitchen of a bar, excellent value for money. I recommend it!

I’m from Australia and the Italian food is good there but this is the best pasta I’ve had since I arrived in Sicily two weeks ago. The staff were also extremely accommodating of my dietary needs. And 8 euros for a bowl of pasta is fantastic .

26/09/2024: Menu standard, non molto vario. Antipasti e primi piatti buoni. Non molte opzioni senza glutine, in particolare non c'è la pasta. Solo due tipi di dessert. Servizio nella norma.

09/01/2025: We stopped in Sambuca late on a Friday night searching for a place to eat. We called Desiderio and told them that we were 5 minutes by foot. By the time we got down there, literally 5 minutes or less, the table was set for all 14 of us. Pizzas and appetizers were amazing followed by Amaro and Sambuca. I would highly recommend this little gem in Sambuca di Sicilia. Can't wait to return!!
03/01/2025: Marcella and Sebastian are amazing hosts! We were a group of 14 people and everyone enjoyed everything from the crispy appetizers to the delicious pizzas to the complimentary amaro!! Bravi 👏
