La "Quercia" is a historic restaurant located in Montenero Sabino, in the province of Rieti. It is nestled in the middle of a forest, and the restaurant boasts a spectacular centuries-old oak tree in the garden.
The owner, Federico, and his sister, Pina, are an added bonus to this restaurant, where traditional Sabine cuisine is excellent. But a five-star rating definitely goes to the wood-fired pizza. Exceptional. Try it and believe it!

Family lunch.
We were looking for a cool place, sheltered from this summer heat.
A friend of ours recommended it to us.
Highly appreciated advice.
Enchanting place, immersed in nature, surrounded by trees and oaks.
In this place you can breathe tranquility and peace, in addition to the fantastic smell of good things to eat.
The staff is welcoming, polite, kind, and efficient.
The food is excellent, abundant dishes.
Good value for money.
I recommend it to you, we will definitely be back.

I returned for Easter Monday, excellent lunch at a reasonable price, super helpful and kind staff. I went to this restaurant yesterday by chance without booking but it found me a seat. The very kind owner gave me free pancakes plus a plate of homemade desserts also free. Excellent food. Friendly and helpful staff, I will definitely return.

I've been frequenting Trattoria "La Quercia" for over 30 years. I come here from Rome with my daughters for authentic, well-prepared food. Federico is second to none.
