We spent two days in Mantua; on our first night, we decided to have dinner here. The owner greeted us as if we were longtime customers. I've rarely encountered such kindness. Everything we ordered was truly delicious; from the gnocco fritto with cured meats, to the pumpkin tortelli, to the risotto alla Pilota with puntel, and even dessert. What more can I say? We had such a great time, we came back the next night! Congratulations!!!

First time at this restaurant, we were pleasantly surprised! Everything was perfect! From the location, to the customer service, and the attention to detail in the dishes. The staff was knowledgeable, kind, and friendly. The food was delicious and of high quality. We'll definitely be back. The dog was so sweet🥰

What can I say? I brought friends and my partner to taste the flavors of my tradition, and a year later they still ask me to eat there again. The manager and staff were very kind, they made us feel at home.

Try the cured meats appetizer (delicious culaccia and coppa) with fried gnocco (what in Parma they call torta fritta). The rice with puntèl, with frogs, with psína and saltaréi (river shrimp) are delicious. The sliced ​​beef is tender and tasty. The wine list is excellent! Well done!

30/11/2025: I'd like to review Scacciapensieri to clarify the service, which is good. Wait times are normal considering it's a Saturday lunch with at least 90 seats. The quality/price ratio is very fair. The menu is varied.
23/11/2025: Excellent appetizers, don't miss the platter of cured meats, cheeses, and mustard. The first courses are very good, the second courses excellent. Traditional cuisine with excellent products.
