The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, like a home dining room with just a few tables, so you can eat in peace. The host sets off fireworks, with his unexpected jokes but above all with his dishes. Renato's cuisine is inspired by the gastronomic tradition of Molise, with a selection of high-quality local ingredients that are respected and enhanced by his creativity. Numerous dishes are strictly seasonal and always surprising. Here are some examples, purely indicative: - Appetizer: fried cod with vanilla batter, flavored with chocolate and rosemary. - Dessert: zucchini flowers stuffed with brandy ricotta mousse. Da una recensione su una rivista specializzata, insieme con amici abbiamo deciso di visitare Civita Superiore appena sopra Bojano .Pranzo alla Locanda del castello, ove ci ha accolto da burbero Renato Testa, poi passato a simpatico e amichevole Chef. Renato ci aveva precisato alla prenotazione del giorno precedente, che ci avrebbe fatto mangiare, cio' che trovava sul territorio. Bene il pranzo ci ha sodisfatto, il conto un tantino meno.
