I've been there years ago and this morning with friends on a mountain bike. Beautiful refuge, excellent tart and coffee. Next time I'll try to stop and eat.

Refuge located between the top of Cornizzolo and Monte Rai. At 1,110 meters above sea level. Very popular and very panoramic. Open on Wednesdays and Sundays I went up from Canzo, Gaium sources. Trail that climbs steeply in the woods. There are white and red signs. Go down carefully when the stony path is wet

Visited and stopped only for coffee at the bar...nice place with fireplace, bar area, restaurant room, outdoor area with tables and view of the lakes...clean and well-equipped bathroom.various walking routes....

Departure from Eupilio on a paved road or from Civate on a path passing the church of San Pietro al Monte (in summer it is better from here because in the shade in the woods it is more challenging). The location is very beautiful and panoramic, a starting point for other paths or an arrival point for those who prefer sunbathing on the surrounding meadows. Place run by volunteers and open Wednesday and Sunday, very kind, low prices for the quality and quantity of the food (the rabbit is spectacular), clean place.

May 1st, lots of staff and yet, so much friendliness, excellent food, incredible place, clean bathrooms... I don't understand the negative reviews I read... Maybe we should review those who leave reviews.... Thanks again for your hospitality. 🤩
