The restaurant is run by volunteers, and for that alone it deserves five stars. It does, however, deserve them for the friendliness and delicious food.

I've been there years ago and this morning with friends on a mountain bike. Beautiful refuge, excellent tart and coffee. Next time I'll try to stop and eat.

Refuge located between the top of Cornizzolo and Monte Rai. At 1,110 meters above sea level. Very popular and very panoramic. Open on Wednesdays and Sundays I went up from Canzo, Gaium sources. Trail that climbs steeply in the woods. There are white and red signs. Go down carefully when the stony path is wet

21/09/2025: We went on a motorbike today. The food was excellent, and the owners were super friendly. Thomas in particular joked throughout the meal. It felt like home. Well done!
