I have been going there for some time now and I have always found a nice welcome, good service, honest prices, a comfortable environment. The refuge is run by volunteers and this makes it even more special given the efforts and dedication they put into it. For this reason alone it deserves the best because finding a place like this at the top is already a treasure. Thank you ☺️

I have been there many times but I admit I have never eaten or stayed overnight. So I can only review the location. Very well positioned on the hill that divides Mount Cornizzolo from Corno Birone. In addition to countless more or less steep or challenging paths, the refuge is a destination for cyclists because it can also be reached via a paved road that is not passable by cars. Bikes: watch out on the weekends for the shuttles that go back and forth to take paragliding pilots up. Excellent place for a picnic on the beautiful meadow adjacent to the refuge. Good view, but not great, of the Grigne group. Webcam is useful.

Convenient refuge to reach from wherever you go, excellent location, excellent view, also suitable for trips with children, good food, good service, a little too crowded on Sundays, and better to book. Recommended for a trip with family and friends.

We got there starting from Eupilio, to reach Monte Cornizzolo. Refuge run by volunteers, the service is good but a little chaotic on Sundays... the food was good and the menu prices are honest. The dining room is quite large but very noisy, perhaps because the ceiling is a bit low. The location where the refuge is located is enchanting!!! Several paths start from there, we only went nearby, we climbed the summit of Cornizzolo and then went to Monte Rai. Positive experience, definitely to be repeated!!!!

A Sunday at Mount Cornizzolo and lunch at the Marisa Consigliere refuge. We book and pay in advance. At 12.30 the room opens and after having drinks from the bar we sit down and wait for the dishes. Excellent service and delicious polenta, cheeses and stew. Then we have coffee in the bar room and also a slice of tart. Excellent quality and really honest prices. Very happy!
