We only stopped for a short break during the Sasso Lungo/Sasso Piatto loop. The view is truly fantastic. It's worth stopping just to enjoy the view. Unfortunately, I was a little disappointed with the pretzel I ordered. It was probably frozen and they microwaved it for too long or at the wrong power. The fact is, it was burned inside in some places and toasted in others.

We spent a night at this refuge at the foot of the Sassolungo. The dinner was delicious, and the view, especially at sunset, is something you'll never forget.
A super cute room for four with a special view.
The refuge has a warm atmosphere, with an Alpine style that makes it unique and welcoming.
The manager and the young staff are extremely kind and helpful.
This refuge isn't just a place to sleep, but a true experience filled with spectacular views, good food, and genuine people.

It's okay for a stop, but we unfortunately missed the typical South Tyrolean hospitality. The food and service were a bit lackluster—a shame.

I decided to stay overnight at the Pertini refuge, which of all the others in the Sella Pass area is the most authentic and characteristic Alpine-style.
When I arrived, I was greeted by a beautiful sunset and rainbow on their terrace, overlooking the Marmolada and the Lagorai mountain range.
For dinner, they served traditional dishes made with fresh, local products.
The staff was very courteous and knowledgeable about the area's hikes and routes.
I slept in a dorm with other guests, which was quiet and comfortable.
An experience that made my trip to the Fassa Valley even more beautiful.

After a beautiful long panoramic walk you arrive at this wonderful refuge, welcoming outside with deckchairs and tables available, good and typical food, I would also say fast service
