First Rifugio to stay at during my Alta Via 1 backpacking and I must say that all the staff went above and beyond their duty. Highly recommend!

Nice refuge, full of people passing through but still pleasant. We ate reasonably well even though the soup was spicy without us having been warned. The strudel with a vanilla concoction, however, was terrible and gave us stomach acid for a day and a half. Medium-high prices, 20 euros and more each for a single course and water.

Easy to reach, even by bus from the town of San Vigilio where I recommend parking and then taking the bus (you can buy the ticket on the bus and we paid €3.50 each for a single ride) You can also go by car; parking is paid and you have to pay a toll if you are not staying there. Excellent food, meat cooked very well. I had a herb risotto with venison medallion which I recommend.

We didn't stay because there were no available rooms anymore, we just have 2 drinks. The location is great, the staff was kind.

Great spot to stop for lunch especially if you’re doing the Alta via 1 hike. Food can be a bit pricey but not that surprising given the location. You can also refill your water here for free!

Nice place to stay, even if it is sometimes overcrowded. The prices are already high, but you get something for it, i.e. the food is freshly prepared and tastes delicious 😋. The panorama rounds off the stay nicely. In August 2024

05/09/2024: The food was nice, so was the server and it is not too expensive like the other resturants in this town
04/09/2024: We were there twice. Very nice service, food very tasty. Pizza huge. A bit noisy at peak times, although the first time we sat in a small room and it was better there. Be sure to make a reservation at peak time in the evening, even during the week it is very busy. Absolutely top value for money. Parking spaces in front of the door

25/08/2024: We had dinner a few nights ago in this very nice and characteristic restaurant. The lady who served us was really very helpful and attentive. We ordered a trio of dumplings and tortelli, a mixed salad and for dessert a slice of buckwheat cake with blueberries and cream, all accompanied by some good house wine and a grappa. All delicious and also very well presented. Average prices but very high quality. Very satisfied, if we end up in those parts we will definitely return.
19/08/2024: We had dinner at this restaurant one evening during our stay in Natz and it was a pleasant surprise. Bearing in mind that I am a vegetarian, I was amazed by the numerous alternatives offered and the quality of the ingredients. They were all delicious, original and well plated. We had a mushroom risotto, a trio of dumplings and ravioli and a vegetable lasagna. Everything really delicious! Finally strudel and dumplings with apricot which made both me and my boyfriend fall in love. The staff was very kind. Highly approved!
