Rifugio Panorama Hutte In Marebbe

Easily missed when skiing downhill, but worth visiting for the views.

The food was poor, my daughter had stomach problems after eating spaghetti, the coffee was also weak and the cake was ok.

An excellent refuge, both for lunch during a day of skiing and for a relaxing night's sleep in the silence of the mountains. Highly recommended.

The Panorama Hütte on Kronplatz is a place with an absolutely stunning view – the panorama is so beautiful that you can forgive much. The terrace is truly impressive, and just being there is a pleasure. The service, unfortunately, left mixed impressions. The older gentleman seemed rather unpleasant, and the way the plastic cutlery was served was rather sloppy. However, the speed was a plus – the dishes we ordered arrived at the table very quickly. We had pasta – decent, appropriate for the Italian-Austrian atmosphere of the place. In short: it's worth it for the view, but for the food and service – don't expect much.

A refuge in a fantastic location. Super-friendly, kind, and helpful staff, it feels like staying with family. The owners, a father and son, are fantastic, two big Rossoneri hearts, and that doesn't hurt. Hugs from Walter.

The Panorama Refuge on Plan de Corones is a pleasant stop, especially for its setting. Its true strength is undoubtedly the sweeping and evocative panorama, which makes the stop worthwhile, along with its strategic location with immediate access to a practically endless number of slopes, ideal for those who want to make the most of a day of skiing. The refuge is well-organized and functional, perhaps less "warm" and characteristic than others, but perfectly in keeping with such a popular location. The cuisine is decent, the service average. A solid choice for a break between runs, more for the view and comfort than for the culinary experience itself.
