Equipped and welcoming refuge located just below the summit. Typical dishes with generous portions. Very beautiful panorama of the valley and the Adamello and Brenta chains. Path It can also be followed in winter with the necessary precautions and equipment. Friendly and helpful staff.

We visited the peak and the trails around the refugee, amazing landscape, easy route, approx. 2 hours from the parking place. However the refugee was still full of guests in last days of October.

The refuges here in the area enjoy a privileged view and a position that allows for large numbers of people but in terms of overall management and structure it does not deserve 5 stars because it is the only refuge where you pay immediately. As soon as you place your order you have to pay. In my opinion (I visit several refuges in a year) it is rude. You cannot charge before setting the table or bringing a glass of water. The response from the staff who says people run away and don't pay doesn't fit I don't believe it, otherwise it means either that they aren't careful in managing it, or that the other shelters are idiots who don't notice that people are running away. In my opinion this ....... is 1 negative thing and the only flaw. Another strong point besides the location is the sbrisolona cake with amaretto cream. Well I haven't eaten a cake this good for years and like me my friends too in fact we ate 3 slices each. It's very good The staff were excellent and fast

A nice place to visit and eat and drink...the locals are always welcoming and kind.

Almost on top of the hold there is a refuge which is a real gem. Run since 2017 by a passionate and very nice guy, it offers typical dishes at good prices, as well as lots to drink. Ample space both inside and outside, with benches that can be used even when the refuge is closed. In winter it opens on Fridays and stays open until late on weekends, but on Sundays it closes at 3pm. In summer it is always open. The perishable raw materials arrive on our shoulders, every time, from the car park an hour's walk away, while the long-life raw materials arrive by helicopter 3/4 times a year. This means that there is a lot of passion and patience behind this work. It's worth climbing the Stivo just to hear the manager's stories and see the passion in his words. Thus the post-climb food acquires a more intense flavour. They recently made a documentary, "up at the top", which tells the story of the sacrifices behind this work and the more logistical and organizational aspects, but also the ethics in choosing raw materials.

Spectacular view, organic and simple food with emphasis on local products, kind and friendly staff. The route is doable; despite the 900 m difference in altitude, the ascent and descent are not excessively steep.

Starting from the parking lot in front of the K2 Mountain Bar, following the path in 1h 50 you arrive at the refuge. The view of Lake Garda is enchanting. The refuge staff is very friendly and helpful, the food is delicious and the prices are excellent.

Beautiful refuge in a strategic position. Management and approach to guests sometimes rather arrogant.
