Rifugio P. Marchetti allo Stivo In Arco

An absolute must-visit! The hike up to Rifugio Stivo is beautiful, but the reward at the top is even better. You're greeted with a breathtaking 360-degree panorama of Lake Garda, the Brenta Dolomites, and countless other peaks. The rifugio itself is cozy and welcoming, with incredibly friendly staff and delicious, hearty mountain food. The view alone is worth five stars, but the warm atmosphere makes it a truly special place. Highly recommended for any hiker or nature lover. I can't wait to come back!

Very beautiful and welcoming place, excellent service, friendly and helpful staff. Good and plentiful food. Breathtaking view, I recommend it, especially at night with the lights of Lake Garda, very captivating. The grappas were very popular. Go there, I highly recommend it. P.S. If you're a cat and dog lover, you won't be disappointed.

After a fantastic trek to the top of Monte Stivo, this charming refuge awaits you for a delicious lunch. We had lunch there, sampling their platter of cold cuts and pasta dishes, one of which was made with nettles harvested nearby. You're truly wonderful! The staff are friendly and helpful, and the prices are reasonable, especially considering they have to helicopter everything in. We'll definitely be back.

Enchanting refuge at 2000 meters

I went up to the Stivo refuge for a day trek. The route was very beautiful and a little tiring, but nothing excessive, about 2 hours of walking starting from the Passo di Santa Barbara. Along the path the view that opens up on Riva del Garda and Vallagarina is incredible. Once you get to the top, the view is even more spectacular: from there you can see Lake Garda, the Brenta Dolomites and other peaks of Trentino. At the refuge, just below the cross (the summit), I drank a very good beer. The staff was very welcoming, and I found the refuge a perfect place to relax before continuing the descent. Definitely an experience to repeat, both for the breathtaking view and for the peaceful atmosphere of the refuge.
