A really great hut! Very friendly staff, excellent rooms and top food. I'm actually excited

The Rifugio Monte Muro has become much larger in recent years. You can stay overnight or just stop by for coffee or lunch. It offers great views of Mount Pütia, friendly staff, and good local food. The walk from the parking lot (which costs 4 € and can be full) takes 1 to 1.5 hours. It’s a bikeable dirt road, and I believe you can manage it with a stroller if you have small kids. We usually hike or bike to the Rifugio; last time, in the summer of 2024, I did a trail run, passing by the Rifugio and continuing to the top of Monte Muro.

Very happy with it. Very good conditions for a mountain hut. The food was great and the staff very nice and helpful. Beautiful views of the Dolomites.

Breathtaking view of the Erbe Pass

Spectacular panorama!! After just an hour of easy climbing. One of the rare refuges with excellent cuisine!

Probably the nicest hut manager we have ever met! It's hard to describe in words how much Claudio saved us on the way after our strength couldn't make it any further and we also got lost.
