The place is beautiful, the staff is very friendly, the food is excellent and varied. The rooms are very clean, but, even considering it's a refuge, they're a bit too basic.

An extremely positive experience. The atmosphere was welcoming and familiar, the location beautiful, and above all, the half-board option was spectacular, with delicious homemade dishes.

We stopped by with a group of friends for lunch and had a great time! The set menu features traditional dishes, all very good—they say the ricotta roll and spätzle were excellent, but I didn't try them due to my lactose intolerance. Luckily, the guanciale with Teroldego wine and the goulash with polenta were spectacular! The staff comes to the tables and serves directly onto the plates, so the portions aren't overly generous, but considering the number of dishes, it's fine! Welcoming atmosphere and fair prices. Recommended!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A genuine and satisfying experience between authentic flavors and breathtaking views During a weekend on a motorbike between Avio, Ferrara di Monte Baldo and Malcesine, we decided to stop for dinner at the Rifugio Monte Baldo, attracted by its panoramic position and the offer of a tasting menu for €22. Even though we were not guests of the accommodation, the welcome was warm and familiar, as if they had known us for a long time. The refuge overlooks one of the most suggestive views of Monte Baldo, and just climbing up there at sunset is an experience worth the trip. But it is at the table that the Rifugio really manages to leave its mark. The tasting menu was a very pleasant surprise: balanced, abundant, and with attention to flavors without being heavy or excessive. All the dishes had that authentic taste of home-made mountain cuisine, with local raw materials and traditional recipes. The service was kind, smiling and punctual, while maintaining that informal tone typical of refuges, which makes you feel at home. The quality-price ratio is also truly remarkable: with 22 euros per person you eat abundantly, without sacrificing quality. In conclusion, we highly recommend stopping for dinner here if you are in the area, especially after a day in the open air or on a motorbike among the hairpin bends of Baldo. It is the ideal place to savor the mountain on a plate, among silence, stars and the scent of wood.

Ate very well, salvation after a day of challenging trekking

We spent a weekend with the whole family and were also able to bring our dog. The structure is located in the middle of the greenery and you feel in contact with the mountain.

We returned for the second time and this time with our 10 month old baby.. The place is super, the atmosphere of serenity and above all the family that manages and welcomes you, making you feel truly at home.. It's rare to find such an environment and love for what you do.. congratulations and see you soon!!
