Great place with friendly atmosphere. Amazing view of the lake Lago di Como. Simple rooms with bunk beds, clean. Shared bathroom with hot warer. Wery friendly and willing lady who cooked for us great seasoned dinner (thanks God no more polenta 😀). We really enjoyed the stay, thank you!

Fairly easy path, can be tackled even with little preparation, it will just take more time. We only tasted a macaroon cake and some beers. Some people liked the cake and others a little less as it contained alcohol and some didn't like the strong flavour In summer and on weekends it feels like being in Riccione Beautiful view of the lake I recommend for the fittest the climb to the top which will be rewarded with an even more beautiful view

Excellent, you can eat well without spending too much

Taken by storm on the weekend with good weather. The food at lunch is good and the prices are modest. First and second courses from €7 to €13. There are no side dishes. The menu includes polenta, meat, platters, pasta and minestrone. Generous portions. The cake, the only dessert available, is gnucca and has little sugar. Unfortunately the only solution for a bit of dessert. For lunch we spent €21 each for three of us with beers, water, two platters, a polenta, two cakes and a pasta. A snack for two with two milks and coffee, two cakes and a large water €15. Terrible bathrooms, dirty and devoid of any comfort. Beautiful view. Staff quite friendly, not very smiling and not very attentive in serving the customer.

We stopped there on a hike, had two pieces of cake, which were tasty. The coffee was unfortunately served cold, and the waiting time was quite long.

Such an incredible spot, especially on a sunny day We had a delicious pasta and pint of draft beer as well

A refuge worth the walk! After a beautiful uphill walk of about an hour and a half from the town of Regalia, you arrive at this refuge which offers a breathtaking view of Lake Como. A nice choice of homemade dishes and ample space to enjoy some relaxation. Prices not exaggerated. I will definitely be back.

I review the restaurant. We had lunch with cold cuts, pasta with ragù, polenta uncia, polenta and braised meat, desserts, bitters and coffee. The service is friendly and helpful. The cutting board didn't fascinate me much, but I really liked the polenta uncia. The local desserts and liqueurs are also good. From Breglia, paying €3 for the road that goes up towards the mountain, after a 2.5km climb you arrive at the last usable car park. 2 paths start from there, the low one (basically it continues horizontally from the car park and then goes up a lot) and the high one. The latter rises immediately but is less steep than the one defined as low. I therefore prefer the high one, also for the view. Both require approximately 50'.

07/08/2022 . I arrived at the Menaggio refuge after climbing Monte Grona starting from the Breglia Mountains. Lunch at the refuge where it was possible to both eat inside and, given the beautiful day, order and then eat on the tables outside. I tried a platter of cold cuts and cheeses with a generous portion and a good encore of homemade dessert. The refuge also offers a beautiful lawn where you can sunbathe in front of a breathtaking lake view. Prices normal. Recommended for a refreshment during your holidays

Although the day was not beautiful, the location of the refuge offers a wonderful view. We left the car in Breglia: the path is wide and well signposted. We really enjoyed the refuge's cuisine. The homemade apple and chocolate cakes are delicious. The girl who runs the refuge is very friendly and hospitable. We will definitely return to then go up to the Centenario via ferrata.
