Rifugio Lusia In Predazzo

Siamo stati al Rifugio Lusia, di passaggio, come partenza per il giro delle Malghe e offre un ottima servizio con una posizione veramente spettacolare. Raggiungibile in 2km dall uscita della funivia Morea oppure dalla cabinovia le Cune scendendo la discesa.

We have been coming to this wonderful place for years now, with postcard views and high-level food, thanks to the creative and expert chef Guido. The staff is full of young, kind and always available guys. All led by Herman, an exquisite person, who makes his refuge a magical and hospitable place. Highly recommended!

The refuge is very welcoming and you can also stay overnight, but you have to book because the number of rooms / beds is small. Easily accessible with comfortable paths accessible to everyone. We had a snack which was very welcome. The staff is friendly and very courteous. You can pay both in cash and by card. You have to ask for the receipt at the cash register, ... it will not be issued on its own.

Tranquility and convenient to reach

We had lunch on 27 July 2024 4 adults and a 5 year old girl. Stunning location, impeccable service, very good food. We were offered the dish of the day off the menu without telling us that it cost 18 euros. Delicious gnocchi but in a bit small quantity so we then had to ask for other courses. Table numbering is missing After paying I found an untaken drink on the receipt. I asked for a refund but they made me pay an additional 31.50 euros because some dishes were missing from the previous bill. However, we didn't realize that in the first receipt there were also 2 beers we didn't get (it was the receipt for another table) So we spent a total of 159.50 instead of 147.50. However, that's a lot for 5 first courses and a plate of potatoes, a beer and a coffee for 4 people. On the way back to the arrival of the chairlift we took the wrong route, deceived by a colored sign indicating the chairlift to the Giro d'Ali playground, 15 minutes away along a steeply downhill sunny stony road while the start of path 623 in the woods for Chalet 44 and the arrival point of the chairlift is a little further on

Beautiful refuge, young and very kind staff. We ate very well. The blueberry ice cream was amazing!

Reachable on foot, by bike or with the Lusia cable car. Very plentiful and good dishes, very fast service. Ideal for families.
