I went to the refuge for lunch. Beautiful welcome, excellent food. We regenerated during a break from the walk.

A regular trekking destination every few weeks. The guys who run it are always full of initiative and very kind. The food is always very good, with particular mention, when available, of the apple pie. It's a refuge, so anyone staying overnight should know that they sleep in the dormitory. Super abundant breakfast with freedom to help yourself to drinks, desserts and biscuits. All in the midst of beautiful nature, in the heart of the Cantagallo aquarium reserve. If you love mountains and trekking in the area you have to stop by.

18/05/2024: Simple place near the restricted traffic area, we took the fixed menu of the day, an appetizer, a first course, a second course including water and wine, all fish enriched with artichokes, all very good. Spend 27.00 euros, we will be back

21/08/2024: During a recent visit to Tuscany, we had the pleasure of dining at the "La Pista" restaurant/pizzeria, an experience that exceeded all our expectations. The menu offers a variety of traditional Tuscan dishes. Of all of them, we would like to point out in particular the Tortelli Primavera, a dish that won us over from the first taste. The staff were friendly and attentive, We highly recommend “La Pista” to anyone who is in the area and looking for an authentic and fulfilling dining experience.
