Firm polenta, melt-in-your-mouth wild boar. Very good! Pleasant, all-wood ambiance, large fireplace with pot and polenta.

A lovely refuge, conveniently located in the village of Druogno, just steps from the center and the Domodossola-Locarno train station. Excellent polenta, cooked in a pot in the open fireplace, is accompanied by delicious appetizers, from game to porcini mushrooms. If you're visiting Valvigezzo, stop by (reservations required).

The atmosphere is rustic, like a true refuge: when we entered, the polenta was happily cooking on the fireplace. The service was professional yet welcoming and friendly, the food was good and authentic, the wine was honest, and the prices were equally reasonable. Everything was excellent, we'll be back. (A tip: book early!)

Exceptional polenta... slow-cooked in a cauldron... highly recommended with all types of meat... excellent value for money, friendly staff and a welcoming place. Book well in advance on weekends.

Trattoria tipica a conduzione familiare. Oltre alla polenta gialla o nera con vari accompagnamenti, ottimi primi con diversi condimenti. Dolci fatti in casa. Mirtilli sempre freschi, in stagione, di coltivazione propria. È possibile acquistare anche marmellate e succhi di frutta.

25/08/2025: We dined here during the San Vito Fireworks celebrations, and were greeted with kindness and a smile, which is always a pleasure. The place was packed, but within half an hour, an excellent pizza arrived. You can tell the ingredients are top-quality. Superb organization and attention to detail. Kudos to Titti Ivo and the entire staff.
17/07/2025: We ate a delicious seafood paella, accompanied by a delicate sangria. Special thanks go to Andrea, who served us quickly, professionally, and with a warm smile. I recommend this restaurant for the quality of the food and the skill of the attentive and fast staff. We'll be back!
