What can I say, very welcoming place, fantastic staff and divine food.
I recommend the gnocchi and the polenta (we had it with all the variations but in small portions (obviously) truly sublime

It is the first time I go to this refuge and I was really satisfied with both the food, the place and also the very kind staff. There is a wide choice of typical dishes as well as offering excellent off-menu options. The polenta cooking in the cauldron on the fire in the restaurant room makes you feel at home! The homemade desserts are very good, must try!! Excellent quality/price ratio. I will definitely go back.

We stopped today, by chance, and luckily we found a free table (better to book). Cozy atmosphere as you would expect to find it in a 'refuge', fireplace lit with the pot of polenta on the fire (and this is extraordinary!), staff very kind, welcoming who immediately made us feel at ease. Inviting and typical menu, from which we chose a typical appetizer and then, obviously polenta, with venison... adequate portions, almost abundant but which we are happy to finish because the cuisine is inviting, sincere, well made, without too many condiments. Honest and balanced account for the quality and quantity of food... I also bought some compotes made by them... I highly recommend it!

Trattoria , osteria classica e senza ambizioni gourmet/alta cucina/mini porzioni . Saloni rustici , tavoli e sedie in legno , ambiente caloroso , reso ancor più verace dal paiolo della polenta che cuoce in bella mostra nel camino al centro della sala. Menù della tradizione e del territorio . Servizio preciso , professionale e accogliente.Si parte con polenta a dosi generose (ottima farina e consistenza) da arricchirsi con stufato di cervo e di cinghiale , salsicce con piselli , crema di formaggio fuso e arrosto con funghi serviti scodelle . Non contenti prediamo un assaggio di tagliatelle fatte in casa al ragù (buone) e gnocchi all'ossolana con funghi (ottimi) . Tra i dessert da non perdere quelli al mirtillo (coltivazione degli stessi gestori da cui si possono acquistare). Discreto il vino rosso della casa. Genziana, genepi e caffè . Conto sui 30 euro per una serata conviviale da ricordare e da ripetere al più presto.
