Absolutely recommended! The family really makes the stay special in this incredibly beautiful location and in the super cozy hut!

2024 We were there again and it was great again. Even though there were a lot of guests, the service and food were again excellent. The climb to the Chemnitzer Hütte is worth it :-) 2023 I can only agree with the many positive reviews. I have rarely experienced such warm hosts, the food is delicious, the prices are reasonable and the service is absolutely top. We have already been to a few huts in South Tyrol, but we felt most comfortable here.

Giunti al rifugio dopo una relativamente breve passeggiata dal lago di neves ( 1 ora e 10' circa ) ad ora di pranzo.... Ottima la Wiener Schnitzel ( o meglio la cotoletta alla milanese!!) e l'accoglienza Meglio di così...

The cuisine is excellent; the food deserves high praise, as does the stay in the pleasant, attractive, and cozy rooms. I can highly recommend the Chemnitzer Hut to anyone seeking relaxation and a break from a stressful everyday life and who wants to enjoy exceptional hospitality.

Super friendly staff and a hut owner who knows the surrounding mountains very well. At 9:30 a.m., we had a fantastic Linzer slice fresh from the oven.

Giunti in auto al lago di Neves (Lappago), oltre 1.800 metri, siamo partiti per questa bellissima escursione. Il sentiero non è difficile ma sale gradatamente. Nel tragitto si incontrano mucche e si avvistano marmotte. L’arrivo a oltre 2.400 metri è emozionante e con una vista spettacolare. Il rifugio è piccolo ma si pranza anche all’esterno. Ottimo lo Strudel!

Excellent food, I recommend following the forest road if you start from Neves lake to get to the refuge, this way you avoid the path in the woods which is much steeper. Very suggestive walk
