We ate at the Gentian today... Very nice location, poor service and food below expectations... also, unfortunately, the owner is really not very friendly.

Abbiamo mangiato oggi io e la mia compagna, abbiamo preso 1 risotto alle erbette, 1 ragù di cortile (carne bianca), 1 polenta con funghi, 1 tagliata, 1 caffè 1 acqua e 1/2 lt di rosso; Il risotto era buono ma arrivato abbastanza velocemente (precotto?), il ragù sufficiente mentre la polenta era insipida e la carne un po’ dura. Caffè imbevibile. Personale abbastanza cortese e simpatico ma servizio un po’ da rivedere. Abbiamo pagato in totale 80€ che mi sembra un’esagerazione per un rifugio. Non credo ci tornerei,si mangia di meglio in giro.

Mi sono recato alla genziana con mia moglie e il fedele lucky. Mi hanno proposto un tagliere di salumi e formaggi. Tutto ottimo. I salumi nostrani e formaggi del posto. Mi sono trovato molto bene.

24/10/2024: Non avrei mai pensato di fare 30 km per mangiare un gelato.... evidentemente è un super gelato! Anche i gusti senza zucchero e senza lattosio sono strepitosi! Il gusto INFERNO è veramente un PARADISO ..😋😂. Grazie...

04/01/2025: We stopped at this restaurant during a long hike in the valley. The food served is very good even if not all dishes are typical. The staff is very good, attentive, available for every request and also very friendly. We also asked for generous portions in two dishes and they understood and executed correctly. We weren't crazy about the place as it is very simple and basic but you can certainly feel the warmth and welcome of the people who work there.
