It's not my habit to write reviews in general, but these guys really deserve it. Il Dosso is a beautiful refuge, located in a strategic position for any excursion in the upper Val Bognanco. The welcome is super! Giulia, Pietro, Martina, little Mattia, and last but not least Laura and Susi are always ready to satisfy every type of need. And what about Giulia's cooking??? Stunning refuge...excellent food, excellent hospitality. Nice and helpful managers. Congratulations to the entire staff. My partner and I felt more than at home. Excellent solution for those who want to escape the scorching heat of the city.

A jewel in the middle of the woods, unlike the usual mountain refuges, it is a small hotel type structure recently renovated with very very clean rooms with shower, all with a magnificent view of the valley, restaurant with excellent home cooking with 0 km products , the owners Giulia and Pietro manage and produce dairy products with direct sales, cheap prices but with 5-star treatments and cuisine 🌟 strategic position for starting the various trekking routes, the Rifugio il Dosso has a large solarium available for its customers , quiet area even just to rest, you can arrive with a 4x4 car but otherwise you can leave the car at the San Bernardo car park which is about 15/20 minutes away on foot... I highly recommend if you like relaxation, nature, good genuine food in a family oasis at cheap prices 👍😌
