The hut offers good food, but it has become increasingly expensive over the years. In the meantime one of the most expensive huts on the Sellaronda. If that doesn't bother you, you can indulge in culinary delights here. However, everyone has to decide for themselves whether they need this for skiing or hiking. The hut is rustic inside and the view outside is magnificent. The service needs improvement.

Super luxurious, beautiful case; from the seating area to the toilet! :) everything finished down to the last detail; details 👌🏻 And the views 🤩 Photo of apple strudel is from last year; then it was super tasty and warm. This year the creme Anglaise and presentation was not the same and the strudel cold. The ginseng coffee was not expensive but only 25ml or something!? 🙃 A bottom coffee with ginseng syrup.

A chic mountain hut with animal entertainment: yaks graze comfortably close to the outdoor terrace. The food is good, and yak meat is also on the menu. Perfect stop for a good meal and a refreshing spritz with a view. Cabin magic deluxe! Only the service is sometimes overwhelmed and it takes a while until you are served. The hut is usually well attended!

Welcome to Paradise!!! I discovered this refuge a few years ago with my daughter while doing the Sellaronda and I couldn't help but return, with skis on and bringing the rest of my family... They too... Speechless! Where you turn you turn.... The wonder... Behind the splendid alpine structure, his majesty the Sassolungo, at your feet, the Val di Fassa... Between characteristic tables outside (there are also some with a burning fire in the middle for those sensitive to the cold) and welcoming and intimate tables inside, you can immediately put yourself at ease. The food, if it's possible, is even better: the polenta, smoked bacon and black truffle gnocchi are worthy of a starred restaurant... and the rest is no less, try the desserts and then you'll tell me... Trying to describe this magical place is really difficult: in every detail proposed you can perceive the love and respect for these unique mountains, the attention for the guests and the desire to convey to them an emotion that becomes unforgettable. Every element is expertly calibrated, yes, look... even the bathrooms, in which you find yourself a highly sought-after sitting room, discover the care and irony reserved for the way of indicating the respective services for Her and for Him (look carefully at the photo of the doors and you will understand)... In short, I congratulate the manager of the Friedrich August and all his staff for having set a shining diamond in this firmament.
