Winter hike. A beautiful day with stunning views. Excellent refuge, well-maintained and welcoming.

Excellent restaurant, fair prices and excellent food.

Reachable in less than an hour on foot starting from the parking lot of trail 467, just before the Staulanza Pass.

Favourite stay in the AV1. Simple rifugio that tries to be environmentally conscious. Loved the family vibe, Mario is extremely kind, Carlotta brightened up the place with her smile, the whole team was friendly and felt happy to be there. Plenty of space outdoors to lie on the grass or sit at the benches. Great views. Potable water: No Food: Great food with gluten-free and lactose-free options, though with smaller portions than other rifugios Rooms: Small but serviceable, you will need a bed liner Wifi: Yes Bathrooms: Showers were 5 euro for 4 minutes of hot water which was more than enough for two of us. Bring your own towel and toiletries

We stayed at this shelter on a Saturday in September. We arrived for lunch. We hadn't booked, but there was still some room available, and they seated us. We ordered and were served very quickly. The staff were friendly and smiling. The prices were average, as they are now for shelters. Dogs were no problem.

This is an old-fashioned mountain refuge, so no oysters and champagne, but good, simpler fare.

The staff were kind, attentive and fast, the menu was excellent and well-prepared, everything was delicious.

An enchanting retreat, with a warm welcome and the best canederli we've ever eaten! Paola, Mario, and the staff are incredibly kind, and the atmosphere is truly special, not to mention the breathtaking view. Highly recommended!
