Ricrio a Mare is a bar just outside the center of Messina, in a splendid position with a sea view and a large green park next to it, perfect for those with children and want to enjoy a moment of relaxation outdoors. The structure is well looked after and the space is really pleasant. The food is good, the prices are correct and the atmosphere is relaxed... it's just a shame about an unpleasant episode that partially ruined the experience. I went to the cashier at 11.45am to ask if it was possible to order pasta and chops, dishes on the menu. The gentleman at the cash register responded rudely, saying that "it was still 10" and that "we can't eat at this time". After gently pointing out that it was almost 12, he continued to respond in an annoyed tone, adding that they had just arrived in the kitchen. I asked if he could just pass the order along so we could eat when it was ready, but he continued to snort in obvious annoyance. I don't criticize at all the choice to start the service later - it could be fine - but the way of dealing with customers makes the difference, and in this case it left a bad impression.
