Everything perfect, service, food and menu... we didn't even go out and immediately wanted to book the other menu again that we didn't take. Definitely worth doing again, beyond my expectations.

Bella serata in un ristorante stellato, menù sorprendente e servizio attento e puntuale. Materie prime e sapori differenti ma ben lavorati!

Affascinati dalla sua collazione nella piazza più bella di Porto San Giorgio, una volta entrati, siamo stati colpiti dall’accoglienza, cartina di tornasole del mood che ha poi caratterizzato la nostra esperienza. Una sala bella ed elegante, un sipario che dopo poco si è alzato mostrando la cucina a vista, dove sono andati in “scena” grandi protagonisti. Impressionante il livello del menù degustazione che, preceduto da squisiti amuse bouche, ha esordito con “Intensità Marina: Cannolicchio, capasanta, caviale, erbe grasse e ceviche al basilico”, piatto intenso, armonico, sensuale, che ha alzato molto le aspettative, rendendoci scettici su come i successivi avrebbero potuto essere allo stesso livello. E invece uno dopo l’altro, in un susseguirsi di “colpi di scena”, anche gli altri piatti hanno tenuto alta l’asticella, fino alla fine, dove il gioco della piccola pasticceria ha concluso il nostro fantastico viaggio. Empatia, disponibilità, professionalità senza eccesivi formalismi hanno reso la nostra serata memorabile. Bravi!

Far beyond the "star". Very refined place, perfect welcome from the staff, who were more than helpful. The cuisine delighted my palate, accompanied by an excellent quality gin and tonic. Starter and first course both perfect, without smudging, they expressed in the mouth what was described on the menu (no small feat). Perhaps a little something to say about the entrée, as expressed by the staff, it represents their complete restaurant offer (all the restaurants they own, with the different culinary proposals), probably being this the only restaurant with a Michelin star, the entrées also representing the others, in their completeness, did not exalt me, or at least on the palate they did not make me think of finding myself in a starred restaurant (personal taste, let's be clear). Everything presented perfectly, everything coordinated perfectly. Fully deserved the star.

It had been a very fascinating experience and the food is at the top of the rank. We celebrated our 16th anniversary and we decided to go to Retroscena for a unique and special dinner.Everything was unforgettable and magical in every single plate presented. So grateful we could celebrate our special day with this amazing food and amazing service.
