Beautiful restaurant in a convenient yet intimate and authentic setting. Delicious dishes made with quality ingredients, friendly and attentive service, and excellent wines with excellent value. The Tiberius Bridge, just a stone's throw away for a post-dinner stroll, is the icing on the cake!

Super cute spot, the food was amazing and the service great-if back in Rimini will def come back!

We had dinner for two. The three toasted and baked fish crostini sandwiches we had as an appetizer were unfortunately too salty. The fish in a black sesame coating tasted good, but the center of the fillet was unfortunately still raw and cold. The service was attentive but not friendly. Therefore: there are simply better fish restaurants in Rimini.

Let's start from the location where the restaurant is located: we are in Borgo San Giuliano in Rimini, a fraction of the famous seaside resort of Romagna that in itself is already a true urban excellence. The restaurant has outdoor tables in the quiet of the village and in summer the dinner is really pleasant. Professional, attentive, punctual but never intrusive service. The cuisine is seafood with some very interesting reinterpretations such as for example the Scalded Prawns with Curry. If you want to try a local appetizer made to perfection, I recommend the Piada with grilled sardines, a must for those who appreciate Romagna cuisine in which tradition, goodness and simplicity blend pleasantly. The sardines should be eaten in the middle of the piadina with whole vegetables and onion, without deboning them, I recommend. The Monkfish with herbs is also excellent, a simple but extremely tasty appetizer, in summer with high temperatures I would say a perfect dish. Among the second courses I found the grilled mixed skewers interesting, which here at Retroborgo, in addition to the usual shrimp and calamari that you find everywhere, also include grouper and gurnard fillets. A slightly innovative idea that finally gives breath to the classic fish skewer that, however good it may be, needs a burst of innovation. If you want to accompany everything with a typical white wine from the hills of Rimini, I would say that the most suitable grape variety is just one, a bottle of rebola and go with the liscio.

Seabass was incredibly fresh but had too much seasame, too little salt and a weird concoction of flavors with the sides.

Piccolo ristorante nel cuore di San Giuliano, il caratteristico borgo dei marinai di Rimini: l'esperienza è stata sicuramente molto positiva. Prenotazione facile tramite wapp, il locale è gestito da giovani e si vede sia nel servizio veloce, preciso e informale che nella proposta dei piatti, pochi e tutti di pesce con sapori decisi, gustosi e materia prima freschissima. I passatelli con stracciatella, pomodorini e tonno veramente gustosi, buoni, bilanciati e abbondanti, un piatto decisamente riuscito; ottimo il tonno alla griglia, fresco, cucinato alla perfezione, tra i migliori assaggiati. Prezzo onesto e competitivo, soprattutto per quanto riguarda la carta dei vini: non ho trovato sovrapprezzo esagerato. È stata una piacevole esperienza mangiare in questo ristorante, aiutata anche dalla bellissima giornata che ci ha dato la possibilità di mangiare nei tavoli all'aperto, in una graziosa piazzetta di San Giuliano: conviene lasciare il lungomare di Rimini dove ormai i ristoranti per turisti la fanno da padrona per trovare queste piccole chicche dove si mangia decisamente meglio.
