In the center of Moena. It is ancillary to a hotel. Few seats but served and revered with sympathy. Excellent food, naturally "local", at more than satisfactory prices. I also recommend stopping at the Predazzo/Moena dairy on the way to Cavalese for Predazzo because the cheese counter is of high quality.

The place does not accept reservations! We got there at 12.10pm and a guy very politely told us we would have to wait about 45 minutes, so we got on the waiting list. At 1pm we were seated at the table, the table was small and there were 4 of us a little cramped but the service is quick, so you don't have to wait too long. We took a cheeseburger and an "Osteria" dish, the menu is typical and also has options for the little ones: pasta with tomato sauce and the classic cutlet with chips.
Everything was excellent, I personally ate a delicious cheeseburger, with the meat melting in my mouth because it was so tender and cooked just right. The desserts are also good.
Definitely worth the wait!

The only place in Moena where reservations are not accepted. We showed up on Christmas Day at 12, opening time and occupied the last table of 4. They also accept dogs. The place is a characteristic Tyrolean tavern, very well looked after. The menu features all typical dishes. A good wine list. We ate excellently and spent a fair price, 140 euros for 4 + the wine which I don't include because with that we raised the price a lot. The service was excellent, kind, helpful and also quite quick in serving. Of course in Moena there are other huts where you can eat perhaps more nouvelle cuisine, but you will certainly spend more. I highly recommend it to everyone

Unico locale di Moena in cui non si accettano prenotazioni. Ci siamo presentati il giorno di natale alle 12, orario di apertura e abbiamo occupato l'ultimo tavolo da 4. Accettano anche cani. Il posto è una caratteristica osteria tirolese, molto ben curata. Il menu presenta tutti piatti tipici. Una buona carta dei vini. Abbiamo mangiato in maniera eccellente e speso un prezzo giusto, 140 euro in 4 + il vino che nn includo perché con quello ci siamo alzati molto di prezzo. Il servizio ottimo, gentili, disponibili e anche abbastanza veloci nel servire. Certo a Moena ci sono altre malghe dove si mangia forse più da nouvelle cuisine, ma si spende sicuramente di più. Lo consiglio vivamente a tutti
