Restaurant Schneeburghof In Tirolo

We were only here at the campsite for one night and really enjoyed the food in the restaurant. It tasted great and was particularly beautifully prepared. We had spareribs and saltimbocca - both tasted excellent. The service was also super friendly - all in all - a pleasure 😊

A single dream. We were greeted and treated extremely friendly by all the staff throughout our stay! The location of the property is extraordinary. Everything is remarkably well maintained. Some things are getting old and yet everything Picobello is clean and well maintained and that is crucial!@! A lot of work and energy goes into keeping such an object in such an inviting condition. Respect!@! The entire team seems to work extremely well and the cleaning staff do an excellent job. Bed linen, mattresses, towels...everything is in an invitingly hygienic condition. The same applies to the breakfast buffet, which leaves nothing to be desired for our taste. The restaurant is very busy, which explains everything else. Professionals work here and have fun. We could think of many other positive aspects, but enough with the adulation... Please keep it up and don't do anything else! Booked 2 nights in October. Everything was fine. Great location with fantastic views. From the hotel you can wonderfully walk to Meran. The bus stops nearby and you can use it free of charge with the Meran Card, which you get at the hotel. Our room was small, but had a large balcony and there was enough space (cupboards) for luggage. No TV, which didn't bother me personally. The breakfast was great, sausage, cheese, eggs, fruit, some vegetables, cereal, pastries and, above all, fresh, very tasty bread and rolls every day. We had an excellent meal in the hotel's own restaurant. I would recommend making a reservation there. Price-performance ratio is completely fine. Dogs are also welcome. (October 2024)

Great location near Merano. Good food, especially the dumplings, and excellent service.

We received a very warm welcome and (although it's not usual) were given a latte macchiato after our meal, which was very nice. 😄 Eating and staying there is great because everything is so well organized. Many thanks to everyone!

We stayed for two nights with our 5.50m crate. The journey was easy, even though the access road is a bit narrow. The welcome was very friendly, the pitches are a good size, and even though the road runs directly behind Platt, it's not too noisy. It's also completely quiet at night. Sure, there's only one toilet and two showers in total, but that's fine👍😊 The playground is also great for the little ones, and there are generally nice paths to explore. It's about a 20-minute walk to Merano👍

We were on the motorhome pitch and were absolutely thrilled by the friendly welcome, beautiful, modern showers (yes, there are only 2, but they are super modern and clean), and the food in the restaurant is by far the best I have eaten in South Tyrol. The dumplings are a dream, the sauce and everything. Service so warm. Simply recommended all around.

Were there in mid-October 2024. Great location - free bus around the corner, great service, delicious food. Rooms are simply furnished; The bathroom was added later, so the room and bathroom are very small but everything is clean. We'd love to come back.
