Update: I went for lunch, and it fully deserves its five stars. Friendly, fast, and good food. The rice gnocchi were overcooked and mushy, but otherwise everything was good. I'm giving it five stars based on trust. My last visit was about 25 years ago. I was a regular customer, then I moved abroad. I remember everything as excellent. I'll be back soon for a short stay. I'll update the review. :)

Family run restaurant. Simple menu to view. Offers both pork, beef, duck and fish. The Chinese dumplings are homemade by the owner. The service is fast and great value for money!

Living in the area it often happens that we come to this restaurant for lunch or dinner. The prices are affordable and the food is very good. I usually always get the vegetarian grilled spaghetti which is delicious. I also tried the chicken With bamboo and mushrooms, Cantonese rice, ravioli. Everything always excellent! I absolutely recommend it as it is one of the few remaining good and quality Chinese restaurants in Rome.

Tried it on Sunday for lunch, the place was almost full. The menu was brought to me after 10 minutes, but the dishes arrived in a short time. I went with the classic: spring rolls, despite the addition of soya, they tasted like nothing, but fried well, not heavy. Grilled meat ravioli, good, artisanal, also a little bland. Soya spaghetti with prawns (few if any) and vegetables, good but nothing unforgettable. Low prices, good food, but overall everything a bit bland. Interior of the restaurant a little dated

Do you remember when, about twenty years ago, we said "Chinese restaurant"? ... here is the Rising Sun and this is it. An old-fashioned, family-run restaurant, classic Chinese dishes and a slightly retro atmosphere. Yet it is a surprise for the palate, very well prepared and truly tasty dishes. A special mention for the "ravioli", whether steamed or grilled, with prawns or vegetables, all really good, large and extremely tasty. Another surprise was the bill, which was more than honest. A "well done", keep it up, and a we will return often is the least.
