20/25 years ago this structure was certainly at the top in its category, but today in 2024 it should be renovated a bit, at least without significant upheavals at least a nice whitewash inside the doors, walls, columns, rooms, reception, restaurant etc etc.. .that said, the strong point of this resort is the view of Palinuro and the restaurant where you eat well and everything is very tidy. The sore points are the swimming pool where there are few sunbeds and a scaffolded part that cannot be used, the abandoned, unusable five-a-side football pitch and of course the 7 km from the sea which however may not be a problem thanks to the shuttle service...

My family and I stayed at the PietreRosse hotel for a week from 11 to 18 August. The structure certainly needs to be modernized as it is an old building but we found the room always clean. As far as the restaurant is concerned, initially the food seemed to be not good and overcooked but this happened because, as we were eating gluten-free, the cooking times were not correct. Fortunately we met the dining room manager Piero who immediately took matters into his own hands and with a lot of love for his job accompanied us on this week's holiday. Thanks to him we can say that we ate very well, with care and with maximum cleanliness. On the second day of the holiday, a lady noticed an anthill near the restaurant window and reported it, but instead of taking action, the manager scolded Piero (dining room manager), having an excessive reaction. As usual, Piero resolved the situation excellently and it is only thanks to him that the restaurant has maximum functionality.

I was at Pietre Rosse the middle week of August
The only flaw is that the distant sea is 10 minutes away
Excellent cleaning, the lady came every morning to clean and change towels, all sterilized with bleach
Food for my taste all very bland but passable for the price we paid!
The animators are really good and willing!

Excellent cuisine. Particular attention is paid to gluten-free dishes, which are delicious and tasty. The courgette flower fritters prepared beautifully for my daughter! Strictly gluten-free!
Another strong point of the structure: an apartment with a large terrace overlooking the lighthouse and the gulf of Palinuro. Beautiful panorama day and night.
Then the swimming pool, the shuttle to the sea and the festival, the entertainment guys, the watchful eye of the director, the very kind staff made it a perfect relaxing holiday for us.

Peaceful holiday with breathtaking views
Really good food, beautiful sea. Piero and his staff in the dining room are really friendly and professional. A bit of renovation and it would be the best.

Despite undeniable structural deficiencies, these did not affect the overall quality of the holiday spent. It was a week of absolute relaxation, large room with a beautiful terrace with spectacular views, young but very nice entertainers supervised by experts, beach reachable by shuttle.....a wonderful sea. Friendly and helpful staff. We ate very well, everything was fresh and of good quality. Experience to be repeated
