We stayed in this facility for a week, which was unforgettable for all the staff who worked with impeccable professionalism, to underline the friendliness and skill of the entertainers, the helpfulness of the restaurateurs, in short, a more than positive experience, we will definitely return.

I'd like to point out that we're still in the period of our stay (August 31 - September 7), but I personally feel compelled to write this review to be truthful.
I read comments of contempt, gratuitous nastiness, and much, much more, but drawing OBJECTIVE conclusions, I deduce how poor the people (fortunately not all) are, both materially and spiritually.
The property is surrounded by nature with a sea view, 10 minutes from the partner beach, with a shuttle service included with a wide range of schedules, both morning and afternoon, and pets are allowed.
Entertainment available for adults and children (Jolly Animation), made up of competent, fun, polite, helpful, and inclusive young people, led by Sofia, capable of handling even the most delicate topics with extreme care during their evening shows.
Three meals a day, starting with breakfast, which includes: a variety of jams, honey, milk, coffee, biscuits, cured meats, cheeses, fresh croissants, freshly prepared desserts, etc.
Lunch and dinner, as in all fully packaged resorts, are freely chosen by the guest from two or more options.
The kitchen and dining room staff, in my personal experience, have been completely available and accommodating to any request.
With kindness, courtesy, and extreme professionalism, they are accompanying us during this holiday season, without making us feel in need of anything.
Chef Marcello, a delightful person, has stood out from the start for his approach, and nothing less can be said for the kitchen staff, the reception staff, the dining room staff, and the cleaning service.
I've seen people complain about everything mentioned so far, even the transportation service, considering the vehicles obsolete and dilapidated.
Let's speak objectively: an average of €450/470 per person, for 7 days (late August/early September), in total relaxation and with every comfort, but what do you expect with these prices?
The food reflects the value for money you'd expect with this package; the facility is basic but welcoming.
Anyone who says otherwise is only being spiteful and punitive.
Expecting the Hilton, but on a smaller budget, only harms these truly deserving people.
We'll definitely be back; it's already nostalgic.
With love: Luigi and Orsula ❤️

We had a great time. The place is beautiful, the sea is stunning, the property could use some renovation, but its location retains its charm. The entertainment was fantastic, we had a great time. My only complaint was the food; the food was good, but the side dishes were really poor for my taste. A buffet would have been nice, and I don't think they would have failed. Otherwise, everything was perfect, especially considering the price.

We spent an unforgettable holiday at Residence Pietre Rosse. The location is simply fantastic: when the heat on the beach becomes oppressive, here you can enjoy the fresh and pleasant air, with a breathtaking view of Cape Palinuro that will truly leave you speechless.
Special thanks go to the entertainment team, which was the real added value of our stay. Sophie and her wonderful team—Giorgia, Azzurra, Valentina, Emanuele, Alessandro, and Giovanni—entertained us with energy, courtesy, and great professionalism. Always respectful yet engaging, they made every day lively and fun.
I highly recommend this residence to anyone seeking relaxation, natural beauty, and a warm welcome, made unique by an entertainment team that truly makes the difference.

We were a little worried based on the reviews. It's true that the property is dated and needs fixing, but the bed is comfortable, the apartment is adequate, and the cleanliness is truly excellent. It's far from the sea, but the shuttle service is good and punctual; we've never had any issues with seating or schedules. There are ants, and they're a bit of a problem on the ground floor, but the hotel is in the open countryside, terraced over the sea, with truly stunning views. They accept pets and ask how they interact with cleaning. Two well-kept pools, an amphitheater, and a lovely 24-hour reception. Friendly staff. The beach club has been completely renovated, so it's functional; you can fit in five or six rows. The staff is gruff but courteous. The sea is beautiful, as are the two excursions offered by the hotel, which are cheaper than booking them privately. The entertainment team is young, fun, but always discreet. The food isn't always good. The fish-based first courses are good, while the meat-based second courses are better. The fruit in the buffet basket is stale, but fresh at lunch. Breakfast is plentiful, but not homemade, and the desserts at dinner are all similar, and the cakes are defrosted. The side dishes are a real shame, a bit basic and monotonous. The potatoes are often bad, and they taste like frozen ones, but they're also poorly cooked. The food is certainly good, but it could be much improved. The biggest drawback is that the internet is only available at the reception, and our mobile phone has no signal.
It's all manageable if you factor in the price, because elsewhere we would have paid double.

The facility is a bit old, but you can tell they're fixing it up, as there are still signs of the work, such as a few loose wires. Otherwise, everything is very clean when you enter your room, you can smell it. The only downside is the presence of ants, which, unfortunately, being surrounded by nature, I understand is difficult to control. The restaurant service worked well, with a self-service drinks system, and for the rest, you can prepare your menu the day before. The waiters were very helpful and kind. The food tasted good, but it lacked a bit of quality because it's cooked for about a hundred people. Fast service, 30 minutes of food, including a starter, main course, side dish, and dessert. The pool is quite large and well-kept, thanks in part to the requirement to wear a bathing cap. There's another pool above for small children. The shuttle service is very convenient, with round trips scheduled 2-3 times a day. The very kind driver made an extra stop for me to pick up my car from the mechanic. The beach is about 12 minutes away by car (or shuttle). The partner beach club is called Le Dune. The owner is a bit grumpy, but it's a fairly well-organized beach club with parking, a bar, and a foot fountain. A cold shower costs €1. The entertainment staff are very friendly and work hard with both children and adults, including teenagers. They're not intrusive, so it's enjoyable even for people like me who don't participate in the activities. In any case, we had a great time. It was our first all-inclusive experience, and we'll definitely be back next year for a week. Thanks, Pietre Rosse.

Vacation from July 20th to 27th, 2 adults and 2 13-year-olds.
We left home "scared" by the reviews we'd read, convinced we'd have a horrible vacation, but instead it was one of the best. The beauty of the area and the excursions made the difference.
Hotel: It's not a new building, but it has everything, and having a four-room apartment with a sea-view terrace, unlike a 16-20 sq m room, is truly comfortable.
Cleanliness: The cleaning ladies work hard, always keeping everything clean and towels changed daily.
Reception staff: Efficient and friendly. There was a small problem on arrival, but they resolved it immediately by changing our room.
Lido: Brand new, comfortable, beautiful sea, friendly bar staff. Maybe the staff isn't always smiling, but that's character; they're certainly not rude.
Entertainment: excellent, they do their best to entertain both adults and children. I didn't participate. They were never too intrusive, they do their job and invite you every day but aren't pushy. My children often joined them on the beach in the mornings, having a great time.
Cuisine: this was the sore point, reading the reviews. Obviously, it's not Michelin-starred, but no one pays this hotel for Michelin-starred cuisine; the prices are different... The chef "makes do with what he has." We always ate, never left the table hungry. Breakfast was really good, lunch and dinner were decent, never excellent but not bad either. The dining room staff were friendly.
Of course, we won't be returning, but only because we like to travel, but we can recommend this hotel. If you expect to find a decent place to stay for what you pay (the prices are all at least double, we're Tuscan), then you won't be disappointed.

A property with great potential and a wonderful location, it definitely needs a good renovation, but they're working on it, or at least that's what it looks like.
Pets are only partially allowed. They aren't allowed in the pool or the restaurant, and by municipal decree, they're not even allowed on the beach. However, they can rest at the tables at the affiliated beach club, obviously under the supervision of their owners.
Gorgeous sea, very nice beach club, but I'd revisit the shuttle service not so much for its schedules as for the safety of the vehicle.
Friendly staff, young, engaging, and unobtrusive entertainment. As for me, praise goes to Maître d' Piero and the Chef, who were always attentive and attentive to my celiac disease and made sure everything was to my liking. I never had to miss out on any dish. Everything was always prepared meticulously, sometimes even beyond their capabilities, so thank you again for that delicious fish fry.
For breakfast, a good selection of packaged products from Schar.
Our week-long stay flew by, and my family and I are more than happy with our time at Pietre Rosse. Value for money, 8/10.

We stayed at the hotel from July 27 to August 3, 2025. The property is very large and a bit dated, but its hilltop location offers truly breathtaking views. The rooms are cleaned daily and feature all the comforts (air conditioning, refrigerator, and small kitchenette). Most importantly, they have large terraces equipped with chairs, a table, a clothesline, buckets, and basins, useful for washing swimsuits, underwear, etc. Linens (towels and bathrobes) are changed punctually every 1-2 days. The hotel has two swimming pools, one for children and one for adults, both beautiful and well-equipped. The "Lido le Dune" beach, accessible via a hotel shuttle, is about 5 km away along a winding route. 😅 If you want to be independent with your own car, the daily journey is a bit stressful. As for the beach, the Lido is well-equipped with a bar (probably newly opened) that also serves food (which looks abundant and tasty). Parking is available if you're driving. The Lido, even though it's high season, isn't very crowded at the moment. The manager is unfortunately unhelpful, overbearing, and even less than friendly. The sea is beautiful; during our stay, it was often rough, but the water is truly crystal-clear. Boat trips are a must, and Palinuro and Marina di Camerota are worth a visit. As for the hotel restaurant, I have to say that, considering the quality/price ratio, we really can't complain. The manager is very friendly and always available for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Lunch and dinner are chosen daily for the following day. Finally, even though we didn't participate much, the entertainment team is made up of really nice and friendly people. Anything to look out for? Certainly the structure, such as the elevators (old, too old, they have long since done their job), as well as the sofas and armchairs in the hall and the mattresses in the rooms, especially those of the single beds.
