Residence la Contessina In Firenze

I booked this hotel thinking it would have breakfast. I explicitly looked for hotels that included breakfast, and from the photos and information I found, it seemed like they did. They did before, but when we arrived, we had the unpleasant surprise that they didn't have breakfast. They literally no longer offer anything. There's only a coffee vending machine and another one for a few other products. Really, for the price you pay, it becomes a very expensive hotel for what it offers. The only good thing about the place is the location. It's a great location since it's just a few minutes from the train and tram stations. But if I had known they didn't include breakfast, I would have stayed somewhere cheaper. I was disappointed, and you can hear everything, so there's zero privacy. The rooms are large, but they're not worth it. I wouldn't book here again. If you're looking for something that includes breakfast, don't stay here. Of the hotels I included on my trip to Italy, this one in Florence was the worst. I had better experiences in Venice and Rome.

Very close (walking distance) to train station and city atractions. Hot water, have a bathroom and a small refrigerator. The receptionist talks 5 languages.

The apartment is very spacious (45m²), the beds are comfortable, and the location is perfect. Sleep is peaceful because the hotel is nestled back in a quiet residential area. You step out of the door and find yourself on a street lined with bars and cozy restaurants, and all the attractions are within easy walking distance (a 700m radius). Last but not least, the very friendly and flexible service (we were allowed to park our car early in their own parking lot so we could use the time until check-in) was a plus. We'd love to come back!

Excellent location, excellent parking, unpretentious rooms, could have been better. I recommend it to anyone who wants to spend a few days in Florence.
